Home Instead have been involved in my mum’s care since she was discharged from hospital. They have been so thorough in finding out all about my mum, from questionnaires to visits and emails, they are genuinely interested in her as a person, her interests and wishes and not just her care needs. Everyone I have been involved with have been amazing, from Michelle who I was initially in contact with, to Jenn who is my mums care coordinator and is in regular contact with me. Mums carers Sarah and Shaheen are wonderful too, they are so lovely with my mum and nothing is too much trouble. I can’t thank Home Instead enough for the care and compassion they have shown to my mum & dad and to me and my family. They really have taken a weight off us as a family, which is something I am so thankful for.

My mum has Alzheimer’s and living at home, Home Instead have been great, we started with care visits which over time increased as mums condition got worse. They now provide 24/7 live in care. All the ladies who have cared for mum have been lovely, now mum is on 24/7 care mum has 2 main carers who are brilliant with mum, and she loves them. My brother and 2 sisters are very happy with the care being provided for mum. Would highly recommend them from our experiences of them.

Can not recommend these guys highly enough.

Care pro’s turn up on time, do a great job and actually care - and i mean really care. They dont just do the job, they truly care about their client.

For the first year we used them initially for companionship and a bit of light housework, and as mum’s health deteriorated they stepped time after time.

In the last 6 weeks of mums life, they worked tirelessly to schedule and reschedule the care team as mum’s health declined and her needs increased. The team ramped up from companionship to full personal care in a matter of days, working with me day after day to adapt the care plan to mums ever changing needs to ensure mum had the best quality of life she could have.

In mum’s final days the team worked with me to fulfil mum’s dream of dying at home and helped me give mum the best death possible in very difficult circumstances.

If i had had to do it again, i wouldn't change a thing. These guys are simply the best

Home Instead Cleveland provided amazing support to my Dad, and made an enormous difference to the quality of his life. Denis, his regular carer, formed an immediate rapport with him and my Dad loves his company. The quality of care provided was outstanding, both on the regular daily visits and when emergency care was needed at very short notice. All the carers are of a very high quality and the office team are efficient and responsive. This is an exceptional company, and I’m very glad we found them. My Dad has now moved into a Care Home, but still enjoys visits from (and prior to lockdown) trips out with Denis.

We did our research before suggesting home instead many years ago. I love their ethos on values. Happily they provide great care in practice - it's not just organizational lip service so common in the care industry.
My gran is fiercely independent and they have worked alongside her to find a level of support she is comfortable with. Brenda has been amazing with this and succeeded where I only managed to make myself unpopular!
Ruth the main carer for my Gran is a delight. I've got a background in care but it's always hard to follow best practice when it's your own loved one, Ruth keeps me on track.
Whenever my Grandma hits a tough patch the rest of the Home Instead team comes in to play. I'm a 3 hour drive away, it gives me peace of mind knowing they check on Grandma when she's unwell and will keep me informed.
They are an impressive team, their dedication is better rewarded financially than at other companies. So you know you are getting the best available carers as most want to work for Home Instead.

Brenda from Home Instead did what I thought would be impossible - she persuaded my 93yr old mum (who believed could manage independently, but couldn't and had shunned carergivers in the past) to have the care she most definitely needed.

Andrea and Lesley are now an essential part of my mum's care routine. They are kind, compassionate and go above and beyond what is necessary and truly care about my mum. This has resulted in a happy mum and daughter.

I cannot fault the Home Instead team as a whole, they are outstanding.
