I joined Home Instead Worthing in May 2024 after a change of carer and was looking for something which was flexible but also rewarding. I am enjoying my start in care work and very appreciative that the first time is with Home Instead. As often happens in the care sector, carers move around until they find ‘the one’. The ‘one’ being the company that truly cares about its employees equally as well as its clients and offers genuine opportunities for growth and development. Home Instead has all these qualities.

Since joining Home Instead everyone I have interacted with has been lovely and caring. I have met some lovely clients with varying levels of care requirements and feel as if I’ve built some good relationships already.

The induction training was very enjoyable, detailed and well thought out. This was a great start to my working journey at Home Instead and since then I have completed my Care Certificate. The office team have been very supportive throughout, they are always at the end of the phone or respond promptly to emails. I already feel like a well-established member of the Care Pro team and I’m very much looking forward to my future journey at Home Instead Chichester & Bognor Regis.

I joined Home Instead in September. This was a new career choice for me and I wasn’t sure if I would be any good but I had this strong feeling of wanting to look after people. From the very first moment in my interview I knew it was the company I wanted to work for. I was made to feel so welcome and encouraged to believe that I could be great at this job. The training coach was amazing, she engaged with us with such enthusiasm you just took in all in and couldn’t wait to start. I enjoy every day seeing my clients and helping them in their everyday living. It’s so nice to go home at the end of the day knowing you made a difference to those people’s lives and always knowing that you have a great team to back you up and support you if ever you need them. It’s a great company to work for. ?

I have worked as a caregiver for three years with Home Instead Chichester. I had no experience in the care industry but had help look after my father who had Alzheimer’s. When I first called and spoke to Simon he encouraged me to have and interview and I started My Home Instead journey 3 years ago. The training and knowing if I had a problem or question it would always be answered in a kind and nurturing way. I have absolutely loved being a carer and caring has filled a hole that I didn’t even know was there. Recently I have joined the Office team and I am looking forward to supporting all our carers and clients to be the best and get the best care for them. 10/10 from me.
