CAMHS’ interventions have done little to support my son, who has only improved through his own independence. This institution has failed my family at every turn and caused us more harm than help. I deeply regret ever seeking their services.

Camhs is a joke. The staff only care about money and not your mental health, if I could give zero stars I would. They will gaslight you, downplay your symptoms, make empty promises and ignore you, then say they are very committed when they clearly aren’t. A doctor called Janaki is just sitting there in the background, pretending she cares and is very insensitive. Adriana is one of the worst workers there, no empathy, I’m surprised she’s still there! The only time they even considered trying to help me was after I ended up in hospital and reached crisis point, and even then the “support” I received was next to nothing. I told one of the highest workers there and she didn’t understand how I felt, and seemed to be offended and took it all personally. When I was discharged, they failed to communicate with my new adult team which messed up an important referral. I had one of the best therapists in my final few months with them, thank you for everything Hibo! This place is absolutely rubbish, it will make your mental health a million times worse.

They don't support the child. Or bother to see them. Only when they attempt suicide....oh they don't!

Why does this service exist ?

They state no funding. Then cut out of social services who are rubbish and never supported family. What happen to the UK?

If i could give 0 stars i would. Was with them since i was 12 and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me. Now i’m 18 and have been discharged but still struggling with the EXACT same issues i did when i first started seeing them. Only one person ever helped (thank you Ian) everyone else was awful. And the only time I received proper care was after i had
been in hospital. I hate camhs. Useless
