I found this company through ChatGPT and checked its reviews, which seemed positive. However, based on my own experience, it was completely contrary to those reviews.

I requested quotes for landlord insurance, and Chris initially asked me to call. I made a WhatsApp call after exchanging emails, only to receive a response later stating that WhatsApp calls would not be considered and only direct phone calls were accepted. Instead of making another call, I asked for the necessary questions in writing and was sent a list, which I answered promptly. However, the response I received was completely irrelevant—it did not address my request for landlord insurance and felt entirely out of place. The reply from Chris : (Hello, Thanks for the below – the main rating factor will be the rebuild value – please can you let me know that figure or unfortunately I will not be able to obtain quotes – Also is there not a property management company that sorts the insurance out for the apartment (Whole building) owners as it is not possible to cover one individual apartment, )

This lack of professionalism and clarity was frustrating and disappointing. I had expected a smooth and efficient process, but instead, I encountered poor communication and unhelpful responses. In the end, I gave up on this inquiry.

If this is how they handle potential clients, I cannot recommend their services. Regarding the company's response, if they were handling this matter seriously, they could have simply asked Chris to check his/her sent emails dated 23.01.2025 and 27.01.2025. Instead, they indirectly suggested that my complaint was unfounded. Furthermore, their reply completely ignored the fact that my request was specifically for landlord insurance, not any other type of insurance.

Having felt a bit unloved by my domestic building and contents insurer who wouldn’t give any cover of our property whilst our extension was being built I spoke to Hine who were able to secure cover of the building, contents and work in progress within 4 days of a full information base which accommodates my various modifications to their original proposal. This was after 10 days of struggling with online quotes and call agents who didn’t ask the right questions , didn’t call back or supplied quotes with inappropriate endorsements. I’d recommend Andy Guy at Hine to help navigate the process.
