I have been a patient at Hilltop Surgery for three years. It is the best practice I have ever used. The staff are welcoming, proficient, and knowledgeable, this includes the reception, ancillary and medical practitioners.
I am a member of the patients group which meets approximately four times a year. It is run on a very informal basis and any comments, ideas or suggestions are listened to and, if possible acted upon. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was with my previous practice since childhood, and after experiencing dreadful care/service for years I finally made the leap and moved to Hilltop Surgery. I can honestly say that we have never received such care and consideration in a very long time. Every GP we have visited has shown nothing but patience, kindness and empathy. We are regularly contacted and offered screening, inoculations etc. And I had a pain and medication review for the first time in over 20 years. The nurses and healthcare assistants are wonderful as are the reception staff.
I would highly recommend.

Referral for funding was requested 6 months ago for my son, after calling to request updates in November January and February and March he's still no closer to getting the help he needs thanks this this practice. I have been told 2 different stories by the admin team, that it was only just sent at end of February then it was sent in December. But on contacting the NHS ICB who deals with the funding they never received it, despite me telling the practice this despite me giving them email addresses still nothing has been received by the ICB. I've given this practice chance after chance to put this right but even after emailing a complaint (which needs to be acknowledged 3 working days after receiving, it never was even a month later). They have played with my child's mental health and safety. Trying call and being number 1 in the queue to speak to the admin for a total of 39 minutes to try and get this addressed, the practice manager being busy when you request to speak to them all while a child's medically neglected and suffering.

I moved to this area 8yrs ago and they immediately gave me my repeat prescription, thats been a problem for me in the past with orher surgeries. 6month into living here I had a brain hemmorage and brain surgery. When I got home after weeks of intensive care, hilltop could not have treated me better. There was a Dr, Dr alzamani she really understood me and also Dr matthews he really understood my situation and they both really looked like they truly cares. I was a mess.

Shout out to the receptionists you're all brilliant and do your best for me. I've been at 4 surgeries during my 42 yrs and hilltop by far out ranks them so bad.

Thankyou hilltop for getting me better everytime I have a brain surgery. Yous guys are amazing.

One sad thing though. I wish the doctors wouldn't dissapear. One really gets to know my situation and then they are gone. Other than that, join this surgery you will not regret it.

Waiting In queue to book in for very sick grandfather's appointment someone Infront of us was talking about prescription problems so we tried booking in on the automatic machine but it was saying error and other receptionist took over 3 minutes to talk to us and was doing nothing and said we couldn't see doctor because we were late even though we were waiting in the queue and spent ten pounds in taxis to get grandfather down there and he is really sick and now can't have an appointment wouldn't recommend this doctor's were all changing from it want to complain. Not to mention the fact he's already been waiting for an appointment for a week
