Lucy should be fired. Awnsered the phone with the most pissed off hello, which isn't very friendly especially when dealing with people in crisis. I asked for an appointment with my psychiatrist asap for my anxiety and stated I need meds urgently. She then proceeded to say "well you've got diazipam just take that" , I have two children and a lot of physical health conditions. Diazipam isn't a long term mental health solution. Not to mention it turns me into a zombie if I take it more than 3 days in a row.( RECEPTIONISTS SHOULD NOT GIVE MEDICAL ADVICE) This woman was uncompassionate , rude, hostile and seemed pissed off to be there. DONT WORK IN MENTAL HEALTH. Thankyou for making an already anxious call 100% worse. 0 stars if I could.

Pathetic excuse for a mental ‘health’ service. You have to have a crisis before they’ll actually have the resources to see you. This is a perfect example of where we are in this country with mental health. Not preventative at all. I asked and asked for help and had to have a full breakdown before I was taken seriously. And I’m also a mental health nurse so it’s not as though I don’t know what I’m talking about. Told them I was ill and needed more help on loads of occasions, never got to see anyone until they needed blood tests and an ECG doing. I don’t think the staff here don’t care, that’s not what I’m saying, it’s just so underfunded and the approach of the psychiatrists is not person centred. Let’s all follow the NICE guidelines over the side of the cliff shall we? Having bipolar disorder is bad enough but having it badly addressed when you’re crying out for help makes it a lot harder.

Hill rise is a joke the worst possible place for those suffering with mental health issues. The staff are unfriendly uncompassionate . Simply dont care . Their psychiatry is also a joke and only peddle in drugs .. you should be shut down.

This place is diabolical. I find it hard to believe anyone here is actually trained in mental health problems. They promised my suicidal brother that they would book him onto a course to cope with suicide and then failed to book him on which meant the course was cancelled. Not very helpful when trying to cope with suicidalnthoights and not feelingnsuportedm they have also cancelled his last 2 appointments without more than 2 hours notice. The receptionist is so rude she should work in the police force. Absolutely unbelievable.

If you are mentally ill, this is the last place on earth you would want to meet a psychiatrist. I went through a 2 hour inquisition which left me so traumatized I would have killed myself immediately if I had not been left so mentally and emotionally exhausted. AVOID psychiatrists here.
