I have been coming to High Grove for several months and would highly recommend it! Tyson is such a friendly, professional member of staff and has excellent customer service skills. He greets you with a smile and always willing to help. The classes are great - Charmaine, Said and Patricia run excellent classes and make them fun. The app is so easy to use too :0)

Fantastic helpful,friendly reception staff, Patricia, Lauren, Susanne, Charmaine do a wonderful spin class, gives a good all over work out, good selection of class times. Great weights room for resistance training. Really clean, well maintained changing rooms, always smell fresh, credit to the cleaners they take pride in the gym. Really happy and worthwhile monthly membership, appreciate the NHS discount, lovely pool, especially the late night swimming as not so crowded. Only criticism is younger children 8 plus cannot use opposite sex changing room so not comfortable allow my 11 year old to use the male changing room without my supervision. Though staff were helpful advising the downstairs bathroom to change.

It use to be good.
But now the management have no idea to manage their instructor.
They don’t try the class so they don’t know how to match their instructor to their members.
Intermediate & advance members, they put a beginner instructor.
Of course members will cancel their booking because they are not happy to the instructor they put on the certain class.
Very poor management.
We pay the membership, why can’t we get a proper service.
They don’t listen to the members who pays their salary.

Highgrove has fabulous class instructors ( Emma, Lauren, Jazz, Emilie, Aimee, Susan ) they are all motivating and encouraging. Patricia’s spin classes especially are great. She makes a real effort to theme classes and changes the music regularly so they are always enjoyable. A big thank you to the staff for the effort they make and for injecting fun into exercise. 😊

I’ve been a member of Highgrove Gym for over 15years and have always had exceptional customer service. I now do a Group Cycle class at least 3times a week, the instructors are friendly and professional, especially Patricia. Highgrove has a friendly atmosphere at all times, a nice place to be.

Unstructured and inconsistent swimming lessons for kids. Each week features a different instructor, resulting in disjointed lessons. We understand same person cannot be guaranteed each week but at-least arrange a proper handover between last and next. Instructors fail to engage with the kids, merely giving instructions from a distance. Despite over two years of lessons, children don’t progress unless parents push for it. Prices have increased, but the quality has significantly declined. After repeatedly raising concerns with staff and seeing no improvements, we decided to cancel. Absolutely disappointing—don’t waste your money here.

Credit where Credit is due! I want to say a BIG BIG thank you 😊 to Tilly, one receptionist. She is kind and considerate. She helped me out when I had a problem last Thursday night. She went above and beyond what was called of her to make sure I was OK as I was was upset. Thank you.
Tilly always greets you with a smile, very helpful and is very clued up. Nothing is too much of a problem for her.
She is a credit to the face of better. Thank you so much Tilly for you kind considerate manner and help 😊 very much appreciated 👏 💐 🥳 💗
