I’d honestly avoid receiving any form of “treatment” from these unprofessional clowns. I suffer with BPD, after a bad episode where I tried to end my life a week later I received a call from a lady at 99 Waverley Road and her advice to me was to eat avocados… I’ve been under this team for a couple years and in this time my mental health has just gotten worse with minimal help from them. If you are struggling with your mental health please go elsewhere, Waverley Road are not equipped to help anyone. They need investigating it’s that serious!

It might not be the right location but complaint about Alison Spencer (psychologist based in the Harlow area) who’s meant to be helping someone I know who’s autistic who’s get severe sensory issues and doesn’t seem to be useful with helping him and he says he feels she doesn’t put enough effort or care into the support Alison should and I’m very dissatisfied with her lack of skills that she worked with him for 2 or 3 years and nothing’s improved.

Absolutely the rudest service I've ever experienced trying to organise a simple appointment for my dad. I cannot believe public funding is going towards this - it's embarrassing.

1 star review is being generous! This place is a joke. The staff are rude, obnoxious and have their own ego at the heart of everything they do and not the care of the people being referred there. Three weeks of being called by another mental health facility and my partner and they haven't gone back to either of them until today, only to be told they don't know what to do next and my partner was asked if she was OK ringing them if she "Needed help".

This is not the first interaction with this place or it's staff and none of the interactions have been pleasant. For a community mental health team, they don't understand community or mental health. The problem is they are not held accountable for their lack of service or the way the talk to their patients. Complaints to PAL's and Health Watch Hertfordshire about this place are also a waste of time as nothing has changed.

Horrific experience! First time I was brought 1 pill a day for my depression, caused by severe IBS. For 5 days they didn’t come at all. Then lied that nobody opened the door. Thank god at the end I got to Albany Lodge where doctors and the staff are amazing. I have a relapse again - very serious - asked to send me to Albany Lodge - GP wanted it to. 2 assessments on the phone and they send to bed ridden patient a letter with apt for April! GP called them again. No they won’t send -1 month in bed isn’t serious for them. Another PHONE assessment by a doctor who didn’t bother to read my history and can’t remember anything - he asked me what I am taking 5! Times. Not a joke. Finally he copied medication on discharge from Albany lodge. Official complaint will follow as soon as I recover. And I hope to get to Albany Lodge finally.

Every time this service books an appointment at the Civic Offices in Borehamwood, they tell me they know nothing about it when I arrive for my appointment.
They do not provide a letter. They make the appointment over the phone.
They did this to me again today.
I turned to them for help with mental health but their neglect and incompetence over the past five years has caused my mental health to decline to the point of feeling suicidal.

Complaint made to:

Care Quality Commission. They are the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

#Minus five star rating.

Worst service in the country. They are putting people's lives in danger!

If you have mental health expecially BPD you'll be treated with the utter most rudest remarks, left untreated, lied about, and the SPA out of hours are diabolical. You'd think people working in mental health and care would have empathy but you'd get better treatment at a karens diner !
