Staff are lovely, but the system is awful. Called at 8:30am on the dot, 27th in que, waited an hour on the phone, told them my medical issue, told no spaces. How have you not got appointments for 27 people? Did the econsult and told need to see someone, but can't see anyone. I left my last problem because I couldn't book an appointment for it (called everyday for a week!) Not a good practice.

I have found the service at this practice has slowly deteriorted over a number of years to the point now where getting an appointment is near impossible by phone, a phone system that puts you in a queue and then cuts you off befor your call gets answered, urgent referrals that should be done on the day taking days or even weeks, I was told to go to A&E after I was discharged from hospital because they had not done a referral, I think this surgery is failing it patients and is putting profit ahead of patient care.

I have to say I have never been so unhappy with a service as this one offers. Appointments are impossible to get. As people have stated phoning at 8.30 on dot to be engaged and immediately told no appointments or about staff sickness. You say be polite and not rude on your message , I do feel you need to take your own advice. Even when you do get an appointment, you sit in the waiting room waiting well after the agreed time. I dread phoning this practice.

Hiw do you see a GP at this practice? I try and try to a point were I feel I may have a break down. I call daily at 8.30 and already there is always about 20 people ahead. Request a call back but it often never receive a call back. The last time I manged to get an appointment which was a year ago I did not see a GP in fact I can't recall ever seeing a GP. How can this be right? This is a doctors surgery yet I can never get an appointment or even see a GP. Surely CQC need to investigate this truly appealing practice

So I've just popped into henford Lodge to see if I can make an appointment to see an actual doctor about 2 on going issues I have. To be told they no longer do any pre booked appointments. It's all done on ring on the day appointments. So obviously they think no one works as they tell you to ring when they open at 8. 30. I explained I start work at 6 in the morning so I can't ring at half 8. By the time I could ring them it would be oh all the appointments have gone today. Plus if you ring at 8 30 you can be on the phone for anything up to 45 minutes before you even get through. How is this helping anyone to sort out there health problems when they think everyone has all day to sit trying to get through for an on the day appointment. Like they now say for different services to ring between 10 and 12 in the morning. Again if people work how can they ring between that 2 hour slot. They are making it as hard as they can for people to get an appointment. It is no wonder people are not bothering trying to see a doctor and letting their problems just go on until it gets really bad. They are not helping their patients at all. Just making life hard for people.

Very friendly reception staff and excellent Doctors who know their stuff. People who complain about not getting appointments either don’t try hard enough or can’t use online properly. Top practice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
