Fantastic GP practice, the receptionists are lovely and helpful, the GP’s, paramedics and nurses are brilliant. They take such a common sense approach which is refreshing.
In my experience E-consults are always responded to before the two day time frame they give.

I moved over to Helix from South Street in January and the difference has been night and day. My e-consults are always responded to within hours (sometimes minutes!) and I’m always offered an appointment quickly if I need one. The surgery itself is always so clean and tidy and everyone I speak to is always so friendly and helpful. So glad I made the move!

Although you can wait a while sometimes to get through on the phone, which I’m sure would be the case with most GP Surgeries, the reception staff are always so helpful, I have always been called back when they say they would with either an appointment or advice, the GPs in my opinion are very thorough and I really can’t fault the Practice at all

While I agree that sometimes it may be frustrating while waiting for the phone to be answered it doesn't mean the receptionists are not working, I have found everyone at the practice very helpful and the GP's fantastic.

Sometimes have to wait on the phone but that’s to be expected with any GP these days! Accurx requests are always responded through quickly and I feel I’ve had good care from all doctors I’ve had there

This doctors surgery is the worst surgery I’ve ever used in my entire life ! Had so many issues with this surgery while I’ve been registered there and so happy to be registered somewhere else now much better. Where do I start with the issues encounter while I was there. Firstly had a skin condition issue which they kept giving me antibiotics for which in the end made me ill as they kept prescribing me so many which weren’t sorting the issue out but kept doing it till I said something. Then finally looked at getting the issue I had sorted but took at least a year for them to do this ! Another thing when you try to get through to the doctors surgery is you can spend at least 45 mins on the phone no matter what time you call at to get through to just speak to someone to book an appointment with them. Then today had an appointment with them and turned up on time and they told me the doctor or person I was meant to be seeing was ill and off sick so the appointment was cancelled anyway but the receptionists failed to let me know so I travelled all the way there for nothing basically ! What an absolute waste of time that was ! I suffer with mental health as it is and they don’t do people like me any favours at all, no wonder there are so many suicides in this country !! STAY AWAY SO YOU DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME PAIN I DID !!!

This surgery is fantastic. I’d always been registered at my London one and was very reluctant to switch due to familiarity but we had to as we’d moved to Stortford.

My experience has been extremely positive; the staff are amazing and were patient enough to deal with me last year when I rang them many times about my daughter. They handled everything with sensitivity and understanding.

With Covid, I email them and I pretty much get an instant reply, I’m so impressed. I’m pleased to have read great reviews about their flu jab service as I’m having mine done tomorrow! 🙂 Great surgery.

AVOID THIS SURGERY. I am a normal, reasonable, and professional man but I have to say that this surgery is neither safe nor caring. It is by far the worst surgery I have known. The ambulance crew who visited me because my own GP couldn't be bothered help remarked how bad this surgery is. I have given you enough time to improve but now have to accept you will not and that I must find a different GP. I value my health but you do not. You do not listen. You do not work proactively with your patients. You miss simple things. I strongly advise - sadly, through first hand experience - people to avoid this surgery. I wish I had...
