The first port of call at Heartwood - the Reception, called in to Heartwood , no privacy when discussing personal health problems, all those waiting are able to hear your very personal problems :-(. Asking for an urgent appointment - forget it, 3 weeks wait for an urgent appointment, their is no empathy from the Receptionists, after all she is just doing her job why should she care. The other alternative - go to the drop-in centre in the evening where you have to get there, queue and wait in the freezing cold in winter early enough to be seen within an hour or two, great when you feeling really ill. The other alternative - ring as soon as they open in the morning and hope your call is answered soon enough to get a emergency appointment - this is practically impossible especially when you haven't slept all night, you are feeling ill and tired and you are in a long queue listening to a recorded message.

Alternative - try the out of hours waiting surgery, wait in the freezing cold in Winter for the doors to open at 6.30pm and hope you get in the queue early enough to get seen within an hour or two, great when you are ill. Second doorsopen at 6 3

Absolute joke surgery. Book appointments with incorrect information (even though you tell them) with staff who are not qualified so you have to re book. Never any appointments available and they are always behind from the minute they open. Staff are incompetent, doctors included!
Stay away to keep your sanity.

Bad experience with continued lack of communication. One member of the reception staff seemed to have no idea about anything. I will say there is one member of reception who was exceptional and managed to answer every question we asked the other girl in minutes. Manager was also really dismissive of complains

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this GP Surgery. I had a bad experience after hand surgery when a Nurse only took half my stitches out. My polite emails about it were ignored. There were negative comments about patients on their Facebook Page. I have complex physical medical conditions but was told by a GP on a tel appt. that I "worry too much" and that I must have a "common cold."

Staff have a "them and us" attitude to patients and do not appear to respect them or be committed to excellent customer care as in line wit N.I.C.E Guidelines.

Cannot ever get an appointment, as soon as the line opens at 8am it just says "line busy" and cuts out. Does not have a queue or anything.

I've asked for the past 2 months of my tablets to be put on repet tablets on their internet thing, but it still has not been done. I've been in today, and l was told that they would speak to the doctor when they finished seeing people at 12.30 pm and phone me, so I waited till 2pm and phone them to be told that they have not done it all the doc's are in a meeting and they do it when they come out off the meeting. Very time you ask to speak to manger they all ways in meeting. No wonder l'm going through problems with my mental health

Very helpful staff. Nice practice but my only concern is the parking spaces, I can't seem to get one! It seems to be for the employees and shoppers! Also only 4 disabled spaces, not very good for the people in need. I'm lost for words at times.

They cancelled my husband’s appointment because someone blocked the parking and he couldn’t get in time there, had to wait for 3 people in front to be told his appointment is cancelled. It’s really a joke when you do everything possible to be there, someone blocks the whole parking lot and still had to wait for them so he can go back home. Would appreciate more care for people, especially when it’s not their fault that they are late.
