I had to attend another medical centre for a consultation, I waited over 15mins to ne booked in. This made me realise what a wonderful service Hazeldean Medical practice provides. I always get an appointment when I need one, on the day I need it. The reception staff are always happy, polite and respectful. My doctor is always helpful and reassuring. I really appreciate everyone. Thank you

Hi, i would just like to take this opportunity to give credit where it's due.
I have always had great service from the Staff at Hazeldene Medical Centre Moston Lane, in particular a lady called Casey who went well and beyond last week to help me with a Urgent matter and got it resolved for me.
Casey was very Attentive, Caring and got my issue resolved there for I believe she deserves some Reward and Recognition.

Many Thanks

Hilton

The receptionist Casey she’s an absolute star with the passing off my mother my health has deteriorated and ringing the surgeries beacsme hard waking up at 8 to make an appointment however Casey has always made it easier she’s been humble polite empathetic and extremely understanding and has always helped me in the best way possible I genuinely from the bottem of my heart can say it’s workers like these that the NHS need to make it more efficient and for patients feel comfortable. Thank you so much Casey + they need to give you a pay rise just saying 😂😂😂😂 but again I am deeply grateful for all that you do and have done god bless you 🙂

Terrible service. Telephone appointment so I could get an update from dr. They rang 13:40 and 13:41, I rang back 13:42 and on hold. Dr refused to take my call back as said needed another appt out of my day just to see why they want me. Receptionist not very helpful. She did ring through to the dr which was nearly 5 mins of which I coulda had that conversation with them and now I’ve got to take more time out of my day for an actual appointment which could have been better used for someone else just so I can get an explanation as to when they want tests from me now when no other interaction since i joined the practice. Always a barrier, 1st was when i joined so i could get medication and now just for an update. Wish we weren’t forced to change practices when you change postcodes as so many better practices out there.

I had a chest infection from the 9th of December till the 21st January I went on three lots of antibiotics in that time the first week I wasn't listened too and had to ring for an appointment on the 12th December I was 37th in the queue when the call got to 6 in the queue my district nurse turned up to do my daily dressing so I had to put the phone down, the same thing happened on the Friday I was very poorly because as the Dr's know I have a number of health issues heart, asthma, chronic pain, mental health, anxiety ptsd, stoma bag peristormal hernia and suppressed immune system due to no spleen so infections can be dangerous but I wasn't listened to.
On Monday the 16th my daughter had to ring the surgery at 8am to get me an appointment. The surgery know I'm housebound, I have physical health issues, hole in my stomach that won't heal and mobility problems, I have mental health issues. I have no access to transport and as the Dr knows I need support to get out, I can't go out on my own now according to the NHS all these things makes me housebound but the surgery have started to say I'm not again I'm not listened too.
On the 16th January I finally spoke to the Dr I expressed my concerns and how I had been treated and I was housebound. Part way through the conversation the Dr asked me to come to surgery so she could here My chest obviously again not listening to me , she then said she would speak with a senior Dr to see if she could send some one to do My obs and listen to my chest, the Dr ended up sending out a community Acute nurse, the nurse rang the Dr after checking me over and explained to her my situation and the doctor said I needed antibiotics a week after I had messaged the surgery and said just that. On the 2nd of January the chest infection came back so I rang the surgery again and was told no appointments I had to ring in the morning at 8am again I explained about my nurses in the morning, I said I just need a repeat prescription for antibiotics, the receptionist said I could ring 111and they can sort a prescription out for my chemist and they had done the same for there mum. I did this give loads of pointless information to 111 to be told I was miss informed by the surgery and they don't do prescriptions however they said they had a Dr's appointment a telephone consultation in the morning with a Dr from my surgery when reception said non available. So the next morning I spoke with the Dr and got some more amoxicillin. Unfortunately after the weeks course I still had the chest infection so had to ring for another appointment. This time I asked for a stronger antibiotic because I was going to be offered the same one, I was given a broadbased stronger antibiotic and thankfully on the 21st January finally the chest infection and cough had gone.
Do you think what I went through was acceptable, is it right the wrong things that are being said about me and my situation or I'm not listened to.
It's already difficult dealing with my poor health issues, my chronic pain, mobility issues, loneliness, mental health all daily where sometimes I think life is too hard then it's made even harder for me.

I’ve been with them for years and the changes the clinic has made are incredible. The new system of econsults and booking appointments online has resulted in faster appointments, easy communication, and quick referrals.

I'd like to appreciate the patience that the reception team had and how they made accommodations to see the GP today.
I cannot thank them enough, what may have been a routine interaction to them was a very validating and encouraging experience for me.

Not to mention how considerate Dr T. Boulter was.

I came with mental health needs and I should he managed the situation with grace and poise and it felt engaging.

He made an active effort to listen and work with me and we considered possible alternatives together and bot just being told " here it is you're sick and take this and that you'll be fine".
