I recently registered here due to my surgery being closed down and have only good things to say. The nurse at my new patient was lovely and put me at ease straight away. The reception staff have been so helpful even when I some how got unregistered, they did everything they can to get it sorted in one phone call. My husband phoned at 8am and was seen by 8:30am. I wish I moved years ago. Thank you

It's hard to see a doctor at short notice but what doctors isn't nowadays. I post a repeat prescription every fortnight and it's always at the chemist for me to collect way before the 3 days they say it can take.
The receptionists are always extremely helpful and go out there way to help you if needed.

I have seen the nurse more than a doctor (once). They are good.
BUT, in all honesty, the receptionist is really luck of the draw. I called to arrange an appointment to see the doctor for a worsening hand problem and was informed there will be a telephone appointment first. So I waited at home for the telephone appointment. They told me it would be a private number. What they didn't tell me is the wait could be up to 6.30 pm and might result in an actual visit to the surgery. There was no clear instructions that the call can be at any time during the surgery opening hours! I was only able to find that out at 12 noon, having waited the 1/2 a day to call again about this appointment and a 40 min wait on the line to get my call answered. This particular staff was curt, so say it mildly. She kept saying it was my own decision to make, whether to stay home to wait for the call or to go to work and come back when the doctor finally called. She also emphasised that if I missed the call, "that's it, there will not be another call." Is this what NHS GP is now?

Phoned in at 8am this morning for an appointment for my unwell 9 month old! By 08:05hrs, appointment sorted for within an hour. Absolutely, fantastic service.

Always had first class service, being able to see a dr any day just by turning up before about 9.30am. This was until covid then like everyone, had difficulties getting appointments.
However, the website now means you can ask questions of the admin team, health care workers or dr, and once assessed, may or may not trigger an appointment. Telephone or face to face appointments still occur, and the new post epidemic service is getting better, as long as you have a smart phone!

Telephone contact of little use, waited 30 mins, before visiting to sort Prescription issue only to be told 24-48 hour wait following GP's signature, when medication is required ASAP due oversight. Not quite the service we're used too. ☹️

Wanted to say what a fantastic nurse Laura/Lauren is.Went in for my first health check and she was great at explaining everything 🙂
Also a shout to the receptionists that work hard and polite,despite not always having people be nice to them.

Such a shame always rated this surgery but so hard to get to see and speak to a gp.
They try your phone twice and not again. My elderly mother can't get to her phone quick enough.!
