My older cat (11yrs) and young dog (17 months) have been patients at Haughley Vets for about 6 months now after I changed vets when my pup had been treated roughly and in an uncaring way by one of the vets at my previous practice which was a very upsetting experience.

I wanted a vet that was gentle, kind and caring and Haughley & Thurston Vets had been recommended and I registered at their Haughley branch.

I couldn’t be more happy with the treatment both my pets have received here. The vets have been fantastic - caring, gentle and have spent time explaining their tests, diagnosis and treatment plans when my cat was recently unwell. They were kind and reassuring with my dog (a Romanian Rescue) and she is also always treated gently and in such a reassuring and caring way. She is very popular with both the staff and vets and we always feel very welcome no matter how busy they are.

Haughley Vet’s prices are good and comparable and I have found them great at discussing different levels of testing and treatment as a choice rather than just making a decision themselves.

I couldn’t be happier with the staff, nurses and vets and would highly recommend them to others looking for a wonderful service and a warm and friendly welcome.

Going to see the vet is generally not a visit to look forward to as the circumstances often dictate the experience. But if it has to be done then Haughley vets is the best place to do it. To have this top quality facility in our village is nothing short of amazing, and the staff make it seem like a visit to friends which is why they richly deserve 5 stars! And so say Chester, Minstrel, Gatsby and Khan....well they would if they could I'm sure 🐾

excellent vets ! i called them up asking for a bit of advice and help with my rabbit as the vets i was with were terrible and didn’t help! they got me an appointment for 30 mins after i called which is brilliant, and they were all so lovely and friendly and treat your animal just like you would with lots of love, i saw Rebecca Hannah today and she was amazing 🙂 definitely changing to this vets and would 100% recommend.

I usually go to Thurston but had to go to Haughley. I appreciate I was 5 minutes late but I spent a fair amount of money with them and received a very uninterested service from the vet. Yet again I was not given any idea of costs so the bill was a surprise. However the vet nurses / Reception team were lovely and very helpful and I would have given them 5 stars. The vet is providing a service to a paying customer- she is not doing me a favour- please remember that. Hopefully it was just an off day.

This clinic is *wonderful.* The front desk staff are so friendly and caring, the vet I've been seeing is fantastic and thorough, and you can just tell how much they actually care for animals. Night and day difference from another clinic I was going to. I wouldn't take my ole girl anywhere else, as I know she's in great hands here!

Haughley & Thurston Veterinary Practices are excellent, the vets, & reception staff are very warm & welcoming, they listen to your concerns, & explain in simple terms if there is a problem with your pet how to proceed with their care. They are always on the end of the phone to answer any questions you may have. I personally highly recommend taking any of your pets to either Haughley or Thurston to be seen you won’t be disappointed.

Were very considerate, helpful and friendly when dealing with our sick dog, Nibbles, during his life and the eventual goodbye which was carried out stress free in his own home.

The vets and other staff are always very friendly and helpful.
