Hatfield road surgery is one of the worst surgery. The receptionist doesn’t know anything and are not trained at all. They would just not let you speak and make sure to put you off the call right from the start, that is how inefficient they are. Even if you are the first caller you are still made to wait on hold for long. The receptionist doesn’t even give you appointment but always give different answers which is half the information as to avoid us to get appointments and wait the whole week to give them a call on next Monday as you are asked to call next Monday for a single appointment. When you tell them your issues and why is it important the receptionist laughs at you, that is how poorly trained they are.
They don’t even deserve to get 1 star. I had a terrible experience here!!!

Hatfield Road Surgery please change your receptionist and keep some trained person there. Not the one who gives all wrong information and tries to put us off the call. I have been asked to wait for 8 weeks for a single appointment and when I called after 9th week I was being told they really can’t do anything. Like what are we supposed to do then? And why were we not informed about it earlier.

Despite the amazing doctors at this surgery, reception ladies are just disrespectful, I think having an accent definitely doesn't help.
Unfortunately there's no way of reporting or complaining about this as the process is simply too complicated.

Worst surgery ever - avoid, if you can! Under trained and unhelpful staff sitting at reception. Time for NHS to automate reeception and basic services. Super frustrating services

Receptionists hopeless except for 1 who has been there for many years. Unable to get to see a doctor , phone calls are useless they need to see the patient.Drs don't seem to care.

Disgusting doctors refused to do anything about swollen lymph node and infected corns in feet constantly refusing to give me appointments told me I don’t have a disability as someone with mental health as it’s not physical I am taking this surgery further and going to the ombudsman

This surgery is possibly the worst doctors ever. Poor customer service, receptionists are clearly unprofessional, untrained and are rude on the phone. This place needs to be restaffed. The long hours of waiting for a doctors call back is ridiculous. If you do somehow get through after waiting on hold for ages, they don’t take notes or find out your appointment never existed in the first place. If you miss a call, then tough luck cause you have to wait the next day. Best to switch to another local doctors. Don’t bother coming here.

Absolutely horrible surgery.

GP's don't call you when it's your appointment, practice manager never contacts you when you have urgent issues, they prescribe the wrong medication and refuse to change it. All but one of the receptionists are rude and do not care, they'll tell you the issues you're having with the surgery are 'not their problem'.
