Been for several appointments at this dentist, twice for emergency appointments which were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Kept informed about the problem and treatment. Both time I have walked away feeling impressed with their services.
Both my daughters have attended for their check ups and tooth extractions and their adult teeth were growing behind them. They came home with no complaints and had great experiences whenever they have visited. My husband also has had good experience and has been pleased with the treatment he has received.

fantastic service - people in other parts of the country can't get NHS dental appointments for love nor money, but we've got an amazing dentist right in the heart of the town. NHS checkups for me and kids are quick, efficient and we get good advice on dental health. The hygienist is considerate, thorough and not at all patronising.
And the private treatments are reasonably priced and well explained.
Can't fault them at all.

Too deep of a filling.
I arrived for a sensitive teeth, it had a cavity. After the filling it got more sensitive. After couple of weeks, I asked about it, apparently I need a root canal.

I would have loved to learn the risk before going through with the procedure.

I do not know, if the cavity was too deep and if it was inevitable. It didn't seem like that for me from the xray. I didn't even have a toothache.

But there seems to be other similar reviews as well... so beware.

I just had one of the most pointless and humiliating experiences here - and I remember me and my mother leaving this dentist for a reason!

First of all they take payments before procedures which is really odd. Plus the vibe was just really off and staff were unprofessional here so we just stopped going.

I never wanted to go to this dentist and my (Asian) father decides to VERY embarrassingly intervene and book this appointment for me due to the urgency of this root canal. I never wanted to go here but bit my tongue as getting this done privately is very expensive and I just wanted the checkup and referral. I avoided dentists for a while as I am incredibly anxious about dentists (for valid reason as you’ll see). I argued hammers and tongs about turning up here and having an appointment booked without MY permission. Also went to reschedule and cancel but couldn’t as I am actually recovering from a mental breakdown and a severe iron deficiency. I was also told that I’ll get struck off from NHS treatment if I don’t turn up.

So I turned up when I was feeling unwell as I didn’t have a choice… then the receptionist laughed and said, you’re Amy right? (Given the dad situation) And I just laughed it off. I never got call confirmations or emails and got accused of not responding and missing 3 appointments. I was basically spoken to and patronised like I was a child. So I turn up early as someone on the phone told me That I can do the forms on an iPad as soon as I get there before the appointment. Then I was told, “The forms shouldn’t be TOO difficult or too much effort” and “This is why we ask you to fill them in before” in a patronising and condescending tone. I was close to losing my temper but instead like an anxious fool, I laugh and say I’ll be as quick as I can. Then the dentist turns up early before the appointment and stands there while I fill in the forms. The whole thing was just nerve wracking and I wanted to leave. I was even criticised for nothing coming here for 2+ years like some naughty school child.

I’m in need of a root canal and need a referral to the dental hospital due to the complexity of the case and the dentist didn’t even notice. Just a simple check up explaining that I need to see a hygienist (which I knew already). I did enquire about the hygienist but luckily didn’t go through with it and said I’ll think about it. I’m glad I didn’t after reading the reviews here.

So now I’m going private and paying the instalments as it is MUCH better than dealing with this. I was never treated like this at pear tree dental and the building is a ton cleaner than this dump.

Then again, be bitter and angry too if I had to work here doing an NHS job in that part of the town centre 😊🤣

This dental practice will really make you feel at ease. The Reception staff are Brilliant and the Dentists there are excellent and really make you feel calm.
I've never been a calm patient always very nervous but I am happy to say everyone there makes you feel safe and really look after you every step of the way. I would recommend to everyone.

I want to share my experience. The dentist and staffs I met in this practice are professional and considerate. He always check on you to make sure you are feeling OK during the visit. The receptionist are friendly, responsive and helpful when I called to enquiry of the tooth scan and reschedule of my appointment. You always get a reminder a day before the appointment, so that you won't miss it.
