Popped in here for the first time in ages last week and was amazed at the selection for a village shop. Lots of fresh fruit and veg. Good ground coffee selection (what I went in to buy!). Plus really lovely lady working there. Haslingfield is a very lucky village. I really hope people living locally are using their shops and cafes so they don’t loose them.

Great village shop, well stocked and great variety, not overpriced. Also a good post office with all the services you'd expect. Minor irk on my part is staff/owner occasionally finding their mobile phone call more important than the real live customer in front of them which I think is rude in the extreme. It could be made excusable by an acknowledgement of being there such as "sorry, do you mind if I take this call"....but not had that to date. I will state categorically that the couple who took the shop and post office over several years ago have dramatically improved this shop and made it somewhere worth going and are true grafters.

Its a very nice village shop that has a vast variety of fruit and veg displayed outside the front of the shop also it has everything else you'll need in side! The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
