HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH TO SEE A DR, BUT YOU GO PAST THERE 3/4 PM ESPECIALLY ON A FRIDAY, THE PLACE IS EMPTY,, NO STAFF IN SIGHT…… PART TIMERS BEING PAID FULL TIME SALARY ON THE TAXPAYER, maybe work proper hours and you would be able to offer a proper bit of patient care.

Were do you start on this joke of a practice. Empty promises from doctors, wrong advice given by Orthopaedic dr leading to me needing surgery, waiting weeks for calls that you never get, asking for the same prescription 6 times and it still not being sent to pharmacy, just having to accept it and go without your pain relief. Going into reception and having to stand there for nearly 10 mins while the staff finish their conversation about their private life then they wonder why you have the hump. Having to wait over a month to see a dr for a followup on a scan and listen to the receptionist make excuses and sit there chuckling away. Had enough, they are there on tax payers money moaning they dont get paid enough when they cant even do their jobs to a proper standard as it is.

Pls avoid at all costs, they are costing me my mental and physical health and have left me no alternative but to go private, seek 3rd party advice and take legal action.

Doctors are mostly good or adequate. The receptionist are incompetent and rude. I booked an appointment for a euric acid test after doctor told be to. I tried to do this and after what can only be described as an interrogation by the receptionist an appointment was booked for 9am 28 march. I turned up tried to book in and no appointment was booked. Then told I must book again 9 march.sadly this is not an exception but the rule. Why is it these receptionists are mostly so patronising, arrogant, incompetent and delusional thinking they are so high and mighty. This is never the case when addending private consultations. It’s official our NHS is broken beyond repair.

I damaged my back, I requested some physio therapy to ease the pain. I filled out forms. I got a call back a few days later, was told a referral would be made. I chased 2 weeks later, it wasnt done. I chased again and managed to get a referral only to find Thorpes has a 4 week wait for NHS, same day if private. I waited 6 weeks total, went to physio to gather advise for the future, I had fixed my back in those 6 weeks. I question why the NHS pay a private practise with such long leads time.

What's the point in opening your doors. The lady behind the desk was insisting I had an enema which I found very strange.

Called them for an appointment. incredibly rude over the phone, snappy and short with me. I was nothing but polite and they refused to work with me. While spelling out my name because there are two ways of spelling it she has said " I know how to spell" 👎

I am also cannot understand negative opinions! I have never had a problem getting an urgent appointment and referrals have been prompt. The reception staff are polite and helpful and the doctors have been wonderful for my entire family and myself.

I've been going here the last 24 years but it has declined rapidly in recent years. A family member of mine has cancer and the way he has been treated is diabolical. His doctor is constantly questioning his prescriptions and often prescribing him the wrong dose. They have on a number of occasions lost blood tests and samples. The receptionists are often rude and unhelpful. I've left appointments before with no help at all and sometimes it's as if they don't care. On top of that trying to get an appointment within two weeks is at times impossible. I have now changed surgerys and am better for it.
I never usually write bad reviews but I felt stongly enough to do so.
