Been a member here since it reopened from Hornchurch leisure centre to Harrow Lodge. It's perfect and the facilities are on point. I have the ultimate membership which gives me everything the standard does plus two weeks booking and fortis which is great! I can take my two children swimming and it's reassuring that swimming is also included in my membership. I do not see the point in an extortionate overpriced membership at the other leisure centre down the road as this is perfect. Also it's very clean, staff are friendly and the members are too!

Amazing staff - management all approachable and helpful; as well as all other staff. Love coming in to site to see all their smiley faces. Pool always clean, gym is lovely and spacious, and the classes are always great!

I had my sons 7th birthday party in the small pool last Saturday, and I highly recommend it. The whole experience from start to finish was faultless, the changing rooms was separate, we had a key for each to leave our stuff, a lifeguard watching the pool, a great member of staff in the pool, Jake was brilliant, he led the kids, he entertained with games, which was fun. There wasn’t many adults that wanted to get in originally until they saw it and we ended up with more than enough adults.
The ends part that Jake did with the happy birthday was out of this world.
We then went to have the food in the cafeteria and Tracy went above and beyond to ensure it worked out perfectly, every detail from the lights being switched off for happy birthday to the cake being cut!

Been a member for so long, aside from a period when I was unable to attend due to serious health issues. . Their GP service helped me to get back to better health following cancer treatment and spinal surgery. The help and support definitely made my recovery better. I love being back at the gym now.

The function arranged by the Lions Clubs District 105A was a grand success with most senior citizens enjoying the entertainment singing and dancing with the performers. Thevolunteers were fantastic. Over 800 people in a hall was great to see seniors enjoying themselves.

Nice and calm mostly. The courts are really good with good lighting and clean surfaces and new nets. Ample parking. Overall great experience.

I visit Harrow Lodge Leisure Centre's swimming pool every week. The whole place has a very pleasant atmosphere and the café is great for a post-exercise coffee and chat with friends. There's also a big car park with access to Harrow Lodge Park itself which is a really attractive place for a stroll.

The only reason I signed up to this leisure centre was for the health suite but that is as much of a disappointment as everything else at this leisure centre. Where have you ever come across a health suite with no access to a hydration station? They have a water fountain in the gym but none where the steam and sauna are. If you don’t wish to pass out from the heat, you have to take a walk to the lobby area in your swimsuit to be gawked at. I ask you: What Wolly came up with such a design?! The other scam being run here is a 4 hour minimum cancellation fee. Generally speaking you don’t know you won’t be able to attend 4 hours before hand. 1 hour 100% you know you won’t make it. 2 hours even, fair enough that’s reasonable. 3 hours this is still far from you appointment time and a lot can happen in 3 hours. 3 hours if you wish to be punitive but 4 hours before, I’m sorry is utterly ridiculous. Who’s running this leisure centre…Putin?! How they have the gall to charge late payment fees for cancellation 3 hours before you’ve already paid to use the facilities and can never use it because it’s always bloody full. Oh and every quarter the fees keep going up and up and up without little to any communication and the terms and conditions get more and more stringent with little to no notice. On top of the fact that you have to book ahead in the first place. You don’t have the freedom of saying I would like to go to the gym or for a swim tonight. Is it even worth it…I’m not sure it is!
