Absolutely brilliant! Having developed breathing problems overnight while recovering from a heavy cold, I asked my pharmacy for advice the following morning and was advised to see my GP immediately. My practice had no appointments, so I went to the polyclinic. All staff with whom I had contact, were polite and helpful. I am so grateful for their efficient support and effective treatment.

I went to the clinic 2 hours after it opened and was in and out in an hour. I was dealt with by 4 staff members and ALL were polite, helpful and even a little bit chatty to settle my nerves. I had an X-ray and waited about half hour for the results. It was a smooth process and one I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

We recently took our child to the polyclinic. We arrived just before opening time - there were already a few patients waiting. Our child was seen by triage, x-rayed & their fracture put in a cast (with a follow up appointment booked with Queens), all within approximately 2 hours. I imagine if we'd have gone to A&E we would have had double or triple that wait time. A huge thank you to the staff, who were all very kind and efficient.

This is the second time here and both experiences have been below unacceptable.
No interest in care how this place can be called urgent care I don't know.
I went regarding a raging foot infection to be told to see a podiatrist. It was out of hours and the infection un unknown resulting In urgent intervention. Due to infection and chest infection, all of which were missed. Picked up by GP 3 days later when I could get an appointment. This time same foot can not walk or bare weight in ankle or foot. X-ray not broken by!! No help just go back see gp. I have a bone condition and not everything will show on an x- ray not interested. See your Gp. I can hardly walk. No care no compassion and complete waste of anybody’s time and taxpayers money the only part of my experience that was good was a receptionist.

It can be decent for dealing with minor ailments or injuries but, in cold weather, waiting until 8am for the place to open can be a bit much.. please open the building sooner & start booking people in from 8am... it will certainly make people happier

I was very poorly with breathing issue. The doctor (women) who was on duty Boxing Day morning was extremely rude had no bedside manner and did not care whatsoever!!!! I have never been spoken to so abruptly and talked down to by a doctor. Made me feel like I was wasting her time when I was having breathing difficulties.

I had cause to visit the poly clinic this morning. I first saw a male nurse who took my temperature, he slid over toward me in his swivel chair stopped about half way then i had to lean over out of my chair so he could put the temperature probe in my ear. He asked me what was wrong and then told me to wait outside and I would be called to see someone else.
I then saw a Doctor who was very polite, very friendly and made me feel at ease. He cleaned and dressed my wound then gave me a prescription for antibiotics and dressings for my wound.
He deserves the 5 stars.

AWFUL AWFUL service! DO NOT go here! 111 refereed me.. Possible broken foot.. couldn’t walk at all, no weight loading for days and on crutches.. they REFUSED to xray me even though the 111 doctor and my GP doctor told them on the phone I need an X-ray to rule out a fracture! Didn’t even see a doctor! Ben Colsley “advanced nurse position” extremely very very rude .. absolute zero decorum .. this guy needs sacking or a medical judicial review for lack of patient care! didn’t even look at my foot to assess it.. and after 1 min waited outside room and told me to get out and lodge a complaint! I asked why are u be being so rude to me? “It’s Monday and I’m busy… said you’re not getting an X-ray..” spoke to manager to complain saw a different person and that was just as poor.. I’ll be lodging a formal complaint.. worst service from a Health professional I have ever received.. even asked me to get out of the provided wheelchair when I can’t walk! Have to now go to an A& E department with more taxi costs.. didn’t even give me after care guidance.. horrible horrible place
