The receptionist could not do enough for you. The last doctor I saw didn't listen to me. After months of pain, due to having a really bad brake on my ankle, braking my foot of my leg had to have it reconstructive surgery in it , pins and plates in it. His answer was loose some weight I also suffer from other conditions what make you put weight on. Gave me a ÂŁ1.89 cream to rub on my foot.

I left this surgery many years ago due to feeling the doctor (Dr Patrick) was unprofessional and dismissive - I went to speak to him about anxiety and felt he was completely uninformed about mental health issues and I left feeling worse than when I went in.

Sadly my husband is still at this practice, and it appears that despite a change in doctors, the same problems have continued, with rude, out of touch GPs. My husband went to speak to the doctor about his mental health, hoping for some advice about self care or perhaps referral to some talking therapy but was just fobbed off with some anti depressants, which he explained he didn’t think were helping him and he wanted to come off. This is appalling given there is the very helpful IAPT service available in Sheffield, what a waste not referring people in need!

He also was extremely inappropriate and discriminatory in his comments about my son who was diagnosed postnatally with Down’s syndrome, asking “why didn’t your wife get tests done?” And “you should sue the hospital”. Absolutely disgraceful!

Absolutely disgraceful Dr and practice. The Dr is rude and even put the phone down on my mother because he didn't believe she hadn't received any results from the hospital!. My father went to the practice after months of us nagging him as he clearly has dementia and possibly cancer and he was still waiting for his appointment an hour after it was due. He got upset and ended up leaving, so now we have to try and convince him to go back which will take months now. Surgery should be shut down and Dr struck off!!!

I had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Shiraz recently, and I must express my utmost gratitude for the exceptional service provided. Dr. Shiraz has been not only extremely helpful but also remarkably kind throughout the entire process. Thank you Dr. Shiraz

Doctor Shiraz is excellent just talks a bit tooooo fast!
Been trying to ring the reception since 7:50 am so that I can ring 5 times up until 8am so that I can be the first person trying them, nope... no the line was busy at 8:01 am up until 8:35 am. Then finally I get hold of them at 9;15 and they say sorry all booked, if there's any cancellation we will let you know or you can go to Eccelsall Road another surgery of theirs. We both don't drive. I told them I've been having dizziness since a few days, how can they expect someone to get public transport when they are dizzy?

Constantly having problems with repeat prescriptions being declined or overlooked or whatever. Fourth month running that there has been a ballsup and it means that I run out of one or more items before I can get the next prescription delivered.
Very dissatisfied.

Used to be a fantastic surgery but when it was amalgamated with another a few years ago, different staff started in reception & the service went downhill. As I found it very difficult to be understood. That said - despite other reviews - I’ve always found Dr Patrick to be an excellent GP
