I have been with Harley Street since 2020. I am extremely pleased with the entire practice. The administrative staff is absolutely wonderful! They are very quick to respond to any inquiries and always very pleasant on the phone.

The doctors have been incredibly understanding and very helpful when discussing medications and any concerns that are brought up.

Together the staff and doctors make this practice an easy choice. I am very pleased I made the choice years ago to choose Harley Street!

Incredible service. Quickly booked me in for an appointment and made sure to respond quickly when rescheduling. The psychiatrist I was booked in with was incredibly funny and supportive and made sure I felt comfortable with the interview. They also often have 'courtesy calls' to make sure you're aware about upcoming appointments, which in my case was beneficial as I'm now diagnosed ADHD and do tend to forget appointments till last minute. They also made sure to prioritise my diagnosis letter as I told them that I have upcoming school exams and so again they make sure to respond quickly to your urgent matters. For anyone who wants a diagnosis especially for school, I do recommend this company for their lower prices in comparison to others and friendly team.

Terrible service, they don't respond to complaints. Actually there complaint procedure is non-existent. Their clinicians don't follow NICE guidelines for autism assessments at all. They don't follow DSM or ICD criteria for concluding autism assessment. Their assessments and reports are extremely low-quality and a service user can never express their opinion. Perhaps it hits their ego that service users know more than their (un)qualified clinicians. This is my 3rd month waiting an update of my complaint. I guess they have blocked my emails now. I will leave one review everyday from now on until I get a response from the authorities.

Just to add further details on the previous review. The service only respond after you add something on the review. My view is still the same. There is nothing called STANDARDS OF CARE or PERSON CENTERED APPROACH at Harley psychiatrists. The only view they have is ‘you didn't get desired results’ rather than approaching holistically, or investigating all aspects of the complaint. They don't respond to your emails. BEWARE don't waste your money. There are better services than them.

As a mature adult with undiagnosed ADHD which was impacting my life I was glad that I called Harley Psychiatrists. The first admin to answer my call was friendly and well informed. After thinking about it I decided to go ahead. It is early days for me as regards managing my ADHD with medication but I can say that I have noticed an early improvement and want to say that everything has been answered quickly, dealt with efficiently and to a high standard. The Psychiatrist in particular was easy to talk to and explained everything very well. I would recommend that if you are thinking about assessment that you give them a call and take it from there.

I had my ASD assessment with Prof. Shankar yesterday. The assessment was so much less stressful than I expected it to be. I was very worried as I didn't have anyone to provide additional information and don't remember much from my childhood however Prof Shankar asked me about family history etc and I gave a short account of what I do remember. I had also provided a written statement beforehand as my brain comes to a grinding halt when under extreme stress.
Prof Shankar was very supportive and really helped me look at my diagnosis objectively and also positively and said my ND brain has helped me deal with very traumatic periods of my life.
I was concerned about using Harley because of some negative reviews but I can't fault their service. It was about 2 weeks from initial enquiry to assessment. Super quick which is important as that waiting period is very difficult.
I'm 57 and I think this is going to change my life. It's never too late.

Harley street psychiatrists have been amazing for our child since 2022. Especially going from child to adult services. Their diagnosis and treatment have made a huge difference to how their life has progressed and kept them in education to now degree level. We get a very fast appointment and the prices are not a rip off like some others and can agree to shared care with your gp.
The psychiatrists always make sure you get your full time you've paid for. Excellent care and could never go back to being pushed pillar to post on the NHS. Also the resources the psychiatrists tell you to read are so helpful.

DONT USE THIS SERVICE
I am back with the review so most people get to know my experiences. This service is extremely unprofessional. For the past 6 months, I have been waiting to her the answers for my complaint but they will only pick and choose the questions they want to respond to. They have a service centred approach. This service impacted my well being badly that I starteddoubting myself due to their unprofessional and judgemental service and the psychiatrist. They will delete my review definitely as they have service centred approach. It doesn't matter to them how their appraoch makes others feel. And the questions they respond to will have comment such as ‘your desired goal’. I don't care about my desired goals, all I want is a report, a detailed report on clinicians impression with appendix on what tools they used for an assessment so that I can take them to court. Obviously they wont give me the report because they know they did wrong to me.

I know I will never get my answers or the report I requested for but at least i can avoid others to fall for their trap.
