I was given an incorrect appointment date over the phone by the GP’s office. When I arrived at the reception, the receptionist informed me that I had been scheduled for the wrong date. As I tried to discuss rescheduling options, she displayed dismissive behavior, such as rolling her eyes and sighing heavily, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Patients are not being treated with the respect they deserve at this GP’s office.

The worst practice,with the rudest receptionists. Specifically women receptionist their behavior is very bad with patient. They don't care about patient also child. Last Monday I talk to receptionist about appointment for my child who has 3+years old they said some one arrange a phone call appointment but one week gone nobody call us. Every single time they don't want to give an appointment I don't know why? From my personal experience I have never received any other gp like this gp really it's a very worst GP. I advance away and register with someone else

I have been at this doctor for 30 years but since the new management took over from Dr Shan and Dr Thana, the lack service and treatment is horrendous.

First of all, the receptionist lack standard knowledge of how to deal with a simple enquiry, do not provide correct information, neglectful, forget to provide call backs, and are straight up rude. They seem to think they are the gate keepers of the GPs, lacking knowledge, empathy, are incompetent and lack any sort of manners.

The practice has made many errors with my recent pregnancy and now I have a new born baby and can’t get ahold of an appointment for the last 3 weeks as they seem to be ‘fully booked’ all the time? I have been told by the staff , if its important, call NHS 111 or 999 ?

It is impossible to get a hold of an appointment, impossible to speak to a GP, I have filled countless complaints with the practice, which honestly go nowhere.

The staff and practice need to be retrained to the standards that Dr Shan & Dr Thana left it at.

Please, do yourself a favour and find another GP.

I have been with this practice since 2008 till now. I have been with several different GP practices and honestly this is my favourite. They have always been so reliable for me. My GPs genuinely listen and have helped gain access to more care via referrals and chasing up important hospital stuff too. I am confident in their capabilities. As someone who suffers from a very complex medical history I have always found it hard to find the right drs etc. the reception staff are and have always been so amazing. They listen and try their best to help always. I honestly have never had any issues at all. I also work and am a mother, so I require some flexibility and have always found them to help me get the right care when I need it without delay. I am surprised when I see negative reviews for here. I am a regular user of the practice and never had any issues for all these years. I hope other patients have their issues resolved. Finding a good practice is hard and I can not imagine changing my GP. So to the all the staff from the receptionist to the nurses, phlebotomist and Drs thank you guys so much for being awesome in a time where I know services are so unbelievably stretched and strained.

Since joining Harley Grove Medical Centre, I can honestly say that I have received nothing but an exemplary service from every member of staff. Reception are efficient, friendly and most helpful. My mother has also had the same experience and cannot praise the surgery enough. Many thanks to all who made a big difference to her health!

This surgery is not fit for purpose. Doctors and staff are incapable of making telephone appointments in allocated slots or providing slots that a working person can stick to (e.g. they will give a 4 hour slot on a weekday, then miss it and you will lose out on the appointment).

The booking system is deliberately made to make getting an appointment as inaccessible as possible. Speaking with staff on the phone you have a 50/50 chance of speaking to someone professional or rude and aggressive.

When I have managed to get appointments in the past - they are not offering appointments with actual or trainee doctors but literal 2nd year university students who are “supervised.”

Want to make a complaint? You can bring in a physical letter to the practice manager. Maybe you can discuss it in your appointment, wasting time out of the slot for your actual care. Harley Grove will give no information about the process or advise you that you can (and probably should) contact PALS instead.

They provide an extremely poor level of care and even that is a difficult privilege to get. I cannot imagine how the elderly, vulnerable or working people (with less flexible employers) ever manage to get access to proper services.

I dread to think how many people suffer in poor health because of your systems, negligence and incompetence.

I have been with this practice sinve 2018 and it has been always a nice experience. The reception people are very good, always kind with me and the doctors always took good care of myself and my daughter! For me it is an excellent practice!

Good service provided. Was seen by Dr Ali. Didn’t rush me and he did listen to my issues. To be honest some other patients are just impatient and want to be seen by Doctors immediately. It is not unreasonable for a person to wait at least 10/20 minutes after booking in to be seen by a Doctor.
