Rude reception staff and ridiculous wait time for what they class as a non urgent appointment. Two weeks and that is just for a phone consultation. Let’s hope it’s not cancerous…..
the website says you can call to make an appointment, once through I tried to do this. Was told I couldn’t and had to do it online. I pointed out that the website stated the opposite and that it could be done over the phone. Receptionist said “I’m telling you…..” in patronising tone.
So glad I’m moving away and can change practice.

Horrifically rude reception staff today wish I had got her name because she should not be allowed to speak to patients this way. I needed an emergency prescription which should have been provided today but harcourt have of course not done it as per usual and now I must wait days despite then having all the necessary info sent. Not the first time I’ve been talked down to by a reception staff member here.

My mother went at 8am thinking she could get an appointment instead they just gave her form fill out. Then the doctor called a few days later at the time she stated she was not free on the form. So whats the point of the form if you don't read it

Very disappointed and upset with the receptionist team. For the last 3 weeks, I have requested a simple print for old blood tests and I followed all the enquiries that I have been asked and said that I need them before my appointment in the Bristol Hospital 03.11.2023 at 2pm and they said I can collect in the morning before going to the Bristol hospital. Once there to collect the prints they said I should wait for them to call me when they are ready and I'm not the only one who needed help. I was surprised how disrespectfully I was treated

The doctors are very good, unfortunately, your expected to look like road kill for the un-medicaly trained gestapo on reception in order for them to flex their godlike abilities & grant you a golden ticket to get to see one.
Previous to this , I made a painful visit the 1st time I encountered gout in my foot, a very painful ailment of which the inflicted would agree. I hobbled with a walking stick in to reception seeking a doctor, after having to explain my discomfort at the front desk I was told I couldn't see one. Luckily I had a wound on my arm which didK pleasant, so I rolled up my sleeve and presented to the Lord of the desk, who said he'd have the nurse take a look....the nurse took one look & told me that it was the worst trauma damage to tissue he had ever seen, he rushed away and returned with a wonderful doctor who explained my arm wound could have easily turned into a haematoma, she also gave me tablets for my gout so I was able to walk again.
Please could you at least put a junior doc on in charge of who sees or doesn't see a doctor....your gambling with peoples lives

I request a refund

Contacted the surgery reception last week asking for an appointment to see Dr Ressa, the receptionist respectfully asked if I could give her an idea as the reason, which I did. She confirmed that the Doctor was likely to call me sometime during the afternoon. At 1pm I received a call from Dr Ressa and explained my situation, he suggested I could come and see him at 3.40 at the surgery, which was fine by me. I said that coincidentally I was literally driving pass the surgery at that point, he instantly said pull into the car park and he'd see me there and then. After my consultation he was writing to a specialist for a further appointment. Unbelievably my specialist appointment arrived the next morning. A first class service from the surgery showing considerable empathy.
