All staff have been patient and welcoming to me. This is not my regular doctors. I was referred to Hanwell Health Centre for follow-up appointments for my heart failure.
They have a parking garage with limited parking, 2 disabled bays, and on the right of disabled bays is the door that takes you to lift.

I went to Hanwell Health Centre for a breast screening for the first time. The receptionist was pleasant. No waiting time. Clean clinic. I found the lady who did the screening was rude. First she asked my DOB and name. She had an accent so I didn't get it for the first time, she rolled her eyes, which was super rude!! Then she said something again very fast which I didn't understand. I was a bit confused and she took a sign and said ' HELLO! Are you there?" or something like that in a rude way. Every time I didn't understand she was reluctant to repeat and she repeated really loudly like she's talking to a stupid person. She must repeat the same things hundreds of time every day, but she needs to realise the patient who visit there don't experience this often. The thing is my English is very good!

Was asked to book an appointment by my regular GP for some minor surgery.

Call 1- person who books minor surgery left for the day. My number taken.

No one called back.

Call 2 - told to phone again tomorrow in morning.

Call 3 - details taken, told they need to check with doctor who performs surgery. Took my number, never got back.

Call 4 - phoned, only to be told that the ONLY person in the surgery that has access to the minor surgery diary, is now on holiday for two weeks.

Probably one of the worst surgeries I have had the misfortune to deal with.

STOP DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH
Do not accept dr bassi or dr kamboj as your dr

I was a patient at this Gp for 3 years with no help or medication complaining about sever pain in my right hand side of my body it progressively worsened over time along with my back that I was waiting for 3 years for a specialist to see me and when he did all he done was ran his finger down my spine and said oh yeah your backs pretty bad I’ll refer you to Ealing hospital for a scan I still haven’t received because I had to switch gps and all my progress over It got so bad I have to use a walking aid now and I’m 24yr when I first came to dr bassi asking for help I could walk and stand straight now I’m on morphine and nerve medication for my for the rest of my life I asked dr bassi for my medical summery which he told me I had to pay for and I did not have to to receive m my own medical information which had my diagnosis of long standing right side sciatica that he had one file for me and had access to seeing it due to him neglecting his patient he has made my life a nightmare stay far away from him and his right hand man dr kamboj that hasn’t got his own option on anything and stands by letting dr bassi do this and when getting asked for a second opinion he neglects his patients because all it would have taken was to look at my file after 3 years of crying and begging in sin house bound no one thought to think wait let me have a little look into this no because we are just another number to them and what happens to are health doesn’t matter he has a history of having problems with his patients he flipped out and told his 82 cancer patients that he is the dr and don’t tell him about pain as he’s the dr he knows

I tried to book an appointment, the only one being over 2 weeks away and then told my patient record was deleted, so I had to re-register. They couldn't tell me the reason why

Booked in (by my Acton-based GP) for an echocardiogram earlier this afternoon.

Despite the fairly high numbers of negative comments here, I have to say, my experience was a positive one.

The guy on reception was both professional and courteous, and I was seen within fifteen minutes of my appointed time by a pleasant and professional cardiology nurse.

All very positive to be honest.

I never noticed this Surgery before as it is actually off the main road but I was referred by my GP to attend the Cardiology Clinic and I am really happy that he sent me.
The building is bright and airy, the waiting room is wide and welcoming. On the Ground floor there is a Chemist, Opticians, Dental Clinic, even a Chiropractor.
I assume the GPs are upstairs because that's where patients were sent but I didn't go there.
The Cardiology Clinic is run by Imperial College Hospital and the Staff is lovely.
I had a Holter Monitor fitted and one of the Nurses was training so I was asked for my permission to have her applying the equipment.
She was kind and friendly, she was a bit nervous but I tried my best to cooperate and she took good care of me.
A senior Nurse was guiding her and she answered all my questions and gave me guidance on what to do /not to do.
It was a pleasure to deal with the ladies and I will be back for a ECG next week so now I feel really at ease and I will be looking forward to attend.
Place is well organised and efficient, Some of the Reception Staff is polite and respectful, others ( like the young woman I spoke to on the 26/05/23 ) things that answering the phone automatically turns them into Nurses/Doctors and they forget it takes another 7 years of studying and a BD in Medicine There seems to be at least one of these bizarre characters working in every Surgery in the UK
