The detail with which she assessed my lower back pain is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced, and the manipulations, stretches and various treatments she has done with me in just 3 sessions have made an incredible difference to my chronic lower back pain. I have had two weeks of being almost pain-free already, I highly highly recommend her.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Michelle for helping me through a very worrying neck problem I developed last year. I found her caring, friendly and positive approach to my condition incredibly reassuring during a very difficult time for me. I had an initial session with Michelle shortly before being out of the country for a number of weeks and was delighted to find that Michelle took the trouble to email me to see how I was whilst I was away. Upon returning to the UK, I had a number of treatments, each one helping to reduce the pain and the worry that I was experiencing. Michelle took the time to explain the treatments she was providing and also helped me to understand how pain is processed by the body and brain, which added further reassurance that a full recovery was possible. The treatments, in conjunction with home exercises suggested by Michelle have meant that I have been able to return to a normal, active life - something that a few months ago seemed impossible. This is a fantastic service from a kind, thorough and incredibly well-informed health care professional. If I could award more than five stars, I would.

Katherine gave a very thorough examination on my first interview. After I explained my issue (50 yr old ankle injury ) she quickly got to work giving physical manipulation, demonstrating home exercises and recommended some minor changes to footwear. Absolutely phenomenal difference after just a few days, i am virtually pain free!

I was referred by a professional body to Hands on Care and to Katherine. They are fully trained osteopaths. Katherine is very patient, thorough and very knowledgeable. I have suffered from ongoing neck and lower back pain for many years as a result of various accidents. Over those years I have seen both chiropractors and physiotherapists with limited good results but have never been completely pain free. A friend recommended Katherine Terry very highly so I felt optimistic when making my initial appointment.

When I first met Katherine I was in immense pain with my neck and shoulders and had very limited movement when turning my head. My lower back was quite immobile although less painful than my neck. After several sessions the pain in both areas had improved significantly and I had considerably more movement in my neck and lower back. Katherine gave me targeted exercises to do in between treatments which helped to ease the pain and increase movement.

I now visit Katherine monthly for maintenance and prevention. I will always have ongoing issues with my back and neck but for the first time in years I am completely pain free at times which I never thought I would achieve. Katherine has identified the triggers that can cause a pain flare up which has been really helpful.

Throughout my treatment with Katherine she has been professional and knowledgeable. She is also very friendly and approachable, and I have always felt very comfortable during my treatments. I thoroughly recommend Katherine for anyone suffering pain and discomfort.

Would thoroughly recommend Katherine. Was recommended her by my partner who had a positive experience with Katherine resolving his posturally related tension headaches. I had a grumbling minor niggle in my back related to postural imbalance. I found the booking process was so easy online, found an appointment time that suited me (evenings and Saturdays have been really helpful for myself and my partner), and she was covered by our private medical insurance. Clear and thorough instructions on the booking email - including to the car park which is a fab bonus being in the centre of Christchurch.

During my initial appointment she took a thorough history and examination, and offered me an explanation of issues and how to resolve them. Managed to get a mix of treatments in the first session - some manipulation, deep tissue work and western acupuncture. She explained what she doing whilst performing each treatments.

Throughout Katherine was friendly and professional.
