On Friday afternoon my mum was told by a member of the community care team that she needed to see a GP. I rang at 1.40pm and the receptionist made an appointment for 4.30 that same afternoon at the East Park surgery. The appointment with Dr Taylor took place on time and by 5pm, less than 3 and a half hours after the initial call, my mum had the required medication.

There are a lot of negative reports about the NHS but I think when things go better than expected that should be flagged up too. I don't think the service yesterday could have been bettered so well done and thanks to everyone in the practice who was involved.

I haven't booked an appointment or anything yet but I wanted so mention Hazel at reception, she was absolutely excellent at helping me, she registered me quickly and advised me in where to go if I needed to be seen immediately and gave me advice on how to contact the surgery. She was very helpful and really patient and kind.

Seen nurse Jess today for my annual review. What a wonderful woman. She’s listened to my concerns and how I’m feeling and made me feel so calm and relaxed. Didn’t rush with me We need more Jess’s in the world.

I would not recommend. It is almost impossible to get an appointment here and I am regularly transfered to east park.
One of the GPs here also has a huge attitude problem and is very patronizing and rude to patients and has upset my wife on a few occasions and made her feel belittled.
I have been with this surgery for over 30 years. A few years ago it was superb with amazing Dr's like Dr Addlestone.
It has since rapidly declined and it is now very poor in my opinion.
For the first time in 30 years I am now looking into changing GP's and will do so as soon as possible.

Good service received. Yes its hard to get an appointment especially as I work and I'm usually travelling to work at 8 when I need to be in the phone queue. However, the doctors and receptionists have been very good.

i would have more chance speaking to the queen than getting to speak to a doctor, i know covid had a impact but was like this before covid as usual receptionists dismiss you before you can request any appointment. NHS is up the creek but with GPs like this no wonder

If you want to book an appointment I would seriously go to another doctors, can never get an appointment and the help desk is not helpful caring or understanding more childish and rude. Overall terrible experience at best
