I would not entertain this care company after recent events. They told me they could no longer provide care for my dad and gave 28 days notice to arrange another company, the 28 days would have been up 14/03/2025. They decided on Friday lunch time of 28/02 that they would not be providing any further services for my dad after tea time that day even though the new carers couldn’t start until Monday 03/03/2025. They said they hadn’t heard from anyone about what was going on and just didn’t have the staff, even though it was only for 2 more days. Fortunately the family are local so we will cover this, some people might not be so fortunate. I had called the company several times during the week up dating them at every point to let them know what was happening and potentially when new carers would start. When I challenged them about the decision they just said they didn’t know what to do so decided to stop the care that day. I asked if it would have been a good idea to let me know what they were intending to do, I thought I had a good relationship with the company and they just said probably! While I appreciate there was a lot of travelling for the carers, I was doing everything I could, and keeping them informed, to get new carers in place, which would have happened before the 28 days were up. To leave someone so vulnerable like that at such short notice is totally unacceptable snd no way to run a business. The carers themselves, especially Munashe snd Brian were brilliant with my dad but management not good at all.

Would not have given any stars but had to to post. Appalling company, constantly turning up at the wrong time to suit themselves rather than their client. Also failing to turn up at all and no communication. The management are dire, they met with us and promised that they would sort things out and subsequently did nothing. I dread to think that they are caring for very vulnerable people who have no back up system as the care they have provided for the last two years has not been very good at all. I would advise anyone considering it to not use this company. Sheffield City Council are aware of their shortcomings and have recently renewed their contract which I find incredible and absolutely disgusting. Hallam 24 have now given up on us and are behaving even worse because they know there is nothing we can do about it as Sheffield CC support them. My next step is getting in touch with our MP to try to get help with our situation

Absolutely appalling company! Amanda the manager there did a call on my vulnerable family member who is suicidal with a bottle of morphine in his possession for the night! Even though it clearly states in his notes he is not to have any medication in his possession which is backed up by the fact all other carers hide his nomads. When I asked her about this she said he wanted it!!! What a joke! Due to Amanda's carelessness this family member drunk the bottle and had to be admitted to hospital as he couldn’t breathe!! If this family member is to not Pull through due to this incident, then Hallam 24 will no longer be operating if its anything to do with me, PLEASE CONSIDER ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER YOUR LOVED ONES ARE AT RISK!! The one star is for the Amazing Dawn who goes above and beyond for my family member…the management need to take a leaf out of her book and maybe get out on the filed more to gain some needed experience!!!

Some great people work here! Kila in paticular And Beth have been great for my nan to her final days...they really do care! My nan felt that they were her friends as well as there to help! -num 82 -Macdonald family

This review is since the new management have started… the girls are wonderful apart from the odd one or two .. but Sarah .. Rachel.. Natalie and sue are the Only reason I’m still using them .. they are wonderful and go above and beyond.. ladies these two stars are for you … at the moment it’s like rolling a dice as to whether a carer will turn up at all… as I’m writing this on a Sunday I will have to wait until tomorrow to have conversations with the CQC ( all though I have already made a complaint online )this weekends failures to provide care and having to turn to my family for help has made me realise that not all their clients are in that fortunate position… the new management should hang their heads in shame

So many nice service users and Co workers. times and visits are so wrong people in office dnt no the services users are the times that benifit them. They just cram calls in ie all about the money not the care
. So please don't blame the workers
