I have been treated by Andrew for several years for back and neck pain, a leg injury from a skiing accident, and various sports-related injuries. Andrew consistently takes the time to fully understand my pain during his initial assessments, carefully observing and assessing the root cause of the issue. He thoroughly explains his approach, detailing the techniques he’ll use and how each will aid my recovery.

Pain relief is noticeable in every session. The number of sessions needed for complete relief varies depending on the severity of the injury, but I always leave with far less discomfort than when I arrived—often completely pain-free. For example, I had suffered from acute pain for years, and after seeing Andrew for just a month, I was free from pain. In another instance, I came in with severe sports injury pain (10/10) and left with minimal pain (2/10) after one session; by the next appointment, I was completely relieved.

Andrew is extremely professional, creating a friendly and safe environment where you feel well cared for from the moment you arrive. He also provides aftercare recommendations and preventative options to minimise future issues, including tailored exercises, worksheets, and advice on hot and cold treatments.

I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone in pain. His understanding of the body and extensive experience are evident in the way he approaches and treats each issue. Plus, the entire team is lovely, making every visit a positive experience.

Andrew was able to identify my back pain within a few minutes after I explained my issue and after 2 sessions I was painful, he suggested discharging me but I wanted another treatment just to be sure a few weeks later. Definitely doesn't over treat and gets to the job of solving the pain/injury

I had lost loads of movement in my left arm due to a painful shoulder due to biceps tendinitis. Even after the first session my range of motion was massively improved. Over the course of treatments my use of my left arm returned to normal, even at a very subtle level and as a Dressage Rider this was really important. My horse and I went on to win our Dressage League this weekend and that wouldn’t have been possible without me getting sorted!

This is the first time I have ever been to an osteopath. So I did my research (a) who was local (b) level and years experience (c) reviews.

I have to say since I have been going I always come back lighter, less pain and almost feeling like a new person. I have issues with tight hips which have resulted in lower back pain. Having a desk job doesn't help either However the advise given, I have taken on board and listened. The clinic are friendly, clean and very flexible with appointments including when I've had to re-arrange at the last minute a few times.

Andrew (osteopath) is very knowledgeable and no question is silly. Andrew and his team are most definitely a credit to Halifax and I am so pleased that I decided to go with The Pain and Injury Clinic.
