Had my front teeth permanently damaged by Dr Abdullah (orthodontist). Hale Bowdon is my local dentist and had been going there for 12 months. Started orthodontist treatment with Dr Abdullah in June 2023 to close gaps in time for my wedding in October 2024. Was promised gaps would be closed within 6 months - Well in advance of the wedding. After 9 months of treatment, I noticed the gaps were not closing and it was difficult to secure regular appointments with Dr Abdullah. I even travelled all the way to Blackburn just so I could see him and have my brackets tightened. Cancelled in March 2024 and went with BeClear in Cheadle (who are just fantastic). Unfortunately because of the delay with Hale Bowdon my teeth were not perfect for the wedding. When braces finally came off you can see the front two teeth have been permanently damaged because Dr Abdullah did not replace my bite blockers regularly enough, which meant my front two teeth would crunch down on the lower brackets wearing them away. Initially didn’t even get an apology from the rude receptionist, but subsequently have been refunded for my orthodontic treatment and composite bonding I had to get done on the front teeth. The worst health / medical experience I’ve ever received. Stay far far away. You may be tempted to say oh well this is just Dr Abdullah and shouldn’t reflect on the whole of Hale Bowdon, but I disagree. Hale Bowdon recommend Dr Abdullah as their orthodontist and I therefore hold them responsible.

Excellent service and super efficient. The staff are really polite, welcoming and put you at ease. Dr Khan is a great dentist and will only recommend treatment genuinely needed. She is considerate and caring and really good with nervous patients. She’s great with children and has such a kind nature. I was so pleased with my treatment especially since I was seen at short notice. No hesitation in recommending the practice.

What a beautiful boutique clinic with excellent staff. Dr Saira Khan and her team have made me feel very welcomed. Dr Saira is an outstanding dentist with attention to detail, highly ethical and always puts the patients’ interests first. She is very empathetic and builds rapport. I feel from my observations that her patients are like her family members from her extremely caring approach. I would highly recommend Hale Bowdon dental practice where the care and level of service is second to none. Keep up the good work guys.
