A brilliant little gym. The main focus is weight training. Nigel, the owner is a fantastic trainer, throwing encouragement at everybody, especially when you're not feeling great. Everybody talks to each other and there's a very friendly non-pretentious atmosphere that is very relaxing.

I couldn’t be happier with Gym Carey, in the 3 months I’ve been going here Nigel has taught me so much and improved my physical and mental health a great deal.

This gym really stands out from all others I’ve ever been to, a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere, none of the usual pressure from people wanting to use the machine you’re on and none of the usual commitment fees and minimum term nonsense all gyms seem to insist on now.

No two sessions have been the same for me yet and I’m there 4-5 days a week ! It’s not uncommon for me to lose 3 hours with Nigel and the super friendly people that work out here, we’re always mixing it up and working out together.

If you have any anxieties about gyms pop in and give this one a go, you won’t find another one like it. Nigel has created something special here.

Power packed with lifting advice and a really great option if your local to Bridport. I used this gym three times while on holiday. Nige was really helpful, very approachable and loads of great tips. Next time I’m down that way, will definitely use again. Worked really well as a pay-as-you-go gym. Cracking name too. 🥰

This little gem may not have the frills of modern gyms but it has everything you need. The main thing is Nigel’s knowledge and expertise produce the best PT sessions I’ve ever experienced. Relaxed & welcoming, he’s helped me lift heavier every week.

Never been to a gym before but after meeting Nigel and been shown the ropes I am absolutely loving it here, great atmosphere and a really nice mix of people of all ages. Highly recommend to everyone.
