If you are pregnant I advise you to choose another hospital.
Me and my partner came here (she’s 41 weeks pregnant) because our baby movements reduced so we called and they told us to come here.
After spending the whole night in here they told us that they would induce labor which we agreed.
The problem is that was 5 days ago and we still here apparently waiting for “a room” since they cannot start inducing labor unless you have a room.
Although the nurses and doctors have been polite they keep coming with the same excuse: “ We have no rooms available because the hospital it’s busy, sorry about that. Maybe tonight we will have one free.” Funny because the whole night no one even comes to check up on us and I’m pretty sure they are not sending anyone home at 3 am lol.
We wonder what they will do when my partner gets to the 41 weeks and 5 days. (the maximum time to be pregnant) - that’s what they said.
Will a room come from the heavens and miraculously be free or if they gonna keep us here as they are doing.
We are extremely disappointed with Maternity Assessment Unit and we wish to never be followed in this hospital if we knew that at the end would be like this.
The lack of honesty is making my partner extremely stressed and that is not good at all for the baby.
We would rather be at home and wait for the time limit in our own comfort but instead we are here like some kind of hostages because if we leave and there’s a room free, that person will take our spot instead of they just contact us to come since a room would be free.

I've been doing my pregnancy follow-up at this hospital. Overall, my experience has been okay. The hospital is generally clean and efficient. When I have an appointment, the waiting time is usually around 15–20 minutes, which is reasonable. I also went to the Maternity Assessment Unit (MAU) once, and the whole process took less than two hours, which was quite efficient.

On the downside, the midwives are extremely busy, so getting a response to questions via email takes time. If you need urgent advice, it's often quicker to call the maternity emergency unit rather than wait for an email reply. Additionally, the number of checkups feels quite minimal, so if you need extra reassurance, you may need to check for other options.

Overall, it's an average experience—things run smoothly when you're there, but communication and follow-up could be improved.

I had to use the A&E here whilst visiting London yesterday. Every person I met from triage to exit were all polite, caring and friendly. I was seen very quickly and given 6 x-rays within around 1 hour I was out and on my way. All the areas were very clean.

It's worlds apart from my local Lincolnshire hospitals and is an absolute credit to the NHS.

Great care from all Staff Members and Doctors. Top services with top of the Range Medical equipment.

Always confident that I will receive the best care in the world and my family and I are never disappointed with the care we receive.

All the Staff of this great Hospital should be proud of themselves.

Hold your head up people, we are all proud of you and hope you all are proud of yourselves too.

Absolutely the worst hospital you could end up in. Avoid it at all costs. Lovely view of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, but that's about it. Shortage of doctors during weekends. Useless midwives in their MAU. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. We had the misfortune of going to the MAU a few times, and we had to wait for a minimum of 5 hours for a check. The longest waiting time for us was 11 hours to get hospitalised after my partner's water broke the day before.

The worst place to work for. Despite all the policies they have published online, discriminating pregnant women over equal opportunities and mothers with very young children over flexible work. Applying psychological and emotional abuse and various forms of harassment towards them and creating hostile environment. They openly devalue women by stating that these women become a burden so they apply abuse to get rid of them. My personal experience became a worst nightmare. Wouldn't recommend at any costs unless you want to damage your mental health in a very short period of time.
