I was at guys urgent care today. Arrived at 8.06 am. Was triaged really quickly. Was seen by the doctor at just after 9.30 am. I believe my doctor's name was Dr young. He was very patient and kind. I had high blood pressure while I was there. He managed to bring it down. He was very sweet. But to let you know there was only 1 doctor on. There is normally 2 doctors.
The care and compassion all the staff showed me was excellent.
Would recommend this place to everyone.

I attended the UCC at Guys yesterday (22/12). It was quite a wait, but ultimately an excellent experience for an urgent care facility. I was assured that the wait time experienced yesterday is very unusual for them and they've never had a wait time that long before (it was around 4 hours). The wait time is usually around an hour and a half (according to what staff had said) but I didn't mind the wait in the end because the DR was absolutely fantastic. She was so caring and understanding and I could tell she really enjoyed working there - which is rare when attending urgent medical facility these days! She gave the best care plan, medication prescribed and didn't let me leave until she was certain it was safe for me to go home (due to a high temp). I really appreciate this quality of care and will be back if I ever need this service again (hopefully I don't need it though). I really wish I took the Dr's name so I could send my compliments over to the hospital.

I was genuinely dazzled by quality of the care I got at Guy's. Every single member of the staff was kind beyond words and really competent. I had an urgent urological complication and it was prioritized and dealt with incredibly efficiently (couple of hours for triage, as expected, but faster from there on out). I also found the hospital facilities impressive. Honestly, I could not have had a better experience (given the circumstances), and I am so very grateful to everyone who helped me that day.

The people at this hospital have been so incredibly kind, I’ve been there a few times the past week and genuinely I could not have had a better experience. From reception, to nurses, to doctors. They were all incredible. The hospital is very bright and welcoming and it’s very easy to find the right location due to the colour system.

The dermatology department specifically is amazing, very quick and efficient and the doctor and nurse I had for a quick surgical procedure were amazing. Very kind, explained to me everything he was doing. To the doc and nurse from room 18 (dermatology outpatient, blue zone) on the 2/2/2024, around 5pm - you guys were amazing! 😁 - from the psych student 😉

The best walk-in centre (Urgent Care Unit) that I have been in the UK!!! I had an ear infection and tried to contact my GP for days. I called 111, but to no avail. Having a bad experience with walk-in centres before, because of their long queue, I was reluctant to go to one. However, this one was absolutely fantastic. I went at 5 o'clock on Friday and I registered, I was seen by both a nurse and a GP, and I collected my prescription in less than 1 hour! All the staff was lovely and friendly, and they explained everything to me. Congratulations to all the people working there!

I was reffered to do an endocrine test after having GD and went today at first hour in the morning to the Southwark wing of St Thomas Hospital. It was my best experience ever here in UK from the ones being in hospitals. Feeling like in a private clinique. All the staff from the Endocrine and diabetes team were extra polite and proved lots of care. The lady that took blood sample were so lovely and sweet explaining with patience all the procedure. The hospital itself is so clean, I think this is the first time I ve seen since I came s in England such a clean hospital.
I would definitely come back again or I will ask to be referred here. Also I was provided with a lunch pack as I need to fast and wait there almost half day. I will leave here a massive thank you!

I can honestly say that this was the most positive experience I've ever had in an emergency department. We were visiting the UK to see my uncle who was extremely ill in intensive care in St Thomas Hospital. On the flight over, the previous evening, my elderly mother tripped getting onto the flight and badly cut both shins. She was attended to by both cabin crew and paramedics who patched her up and advised that she receive treatment as soon as possible. We went to the urgent treatment centre the next day and spent a total of 4 hours being tended to by the most professional, caring people. From triage to release, it was incredibly positive and all the staff seemed to really enjoy their calling. Special shout out to Carol who chatted and joked with my mum throughout the entire experience. 10 stars.
