Review based on the situation with the coronavirus !
I managed to park right outside the building and able to unload my wheelchair directly onto the road next to a dropped kerb . There are steps up to the main door and a ramp entrance just a few yards up on your left .
With covid restrictions in place the main door was shut . I used the disabled button to release the door and it opened and swung towards me !!!! I had to Manage through this door and report to reception on my right .
Having done that there is another door which also opens towards you . Not a lot of wiggle room with a decent size chair .
The waiting room was empty but had only a few well spaced out chairs .
After leaving I had a look around and there is a small car park nearby on opposite side of road .

Started being ill over Christmas which was an on and off illness. Thought I was better but not. Rang 111 on a Sunday and within minutes got offered an emergency appointment at Wharfedale. Few days later rang GP and receptionist could not have helped more. I didn't mind the phone wait as I knew I needed to be seen. Got an appointment that morning and the doctor was great and didn't rush me. Tests were arranged and all follow ups I needed were promptly arranged. The communication from the surgery was great and because I drive for a living and find it hard to answer the phone the lovely reception staff even booked my specialist appointment for me. Thank you to the GP, Nursers and reception staff for everything

After an initial hiccup dealing with a LPA for health and welfare for an elderly patient the practice have been brilliant. They should be very proud of Clare Greenwood for her efficient friendly service - a great credit to their practice

Don’t understand how this doctors is still standing. I’m not one to complain and write and reviews but I’m sick of not being able to get through via phone call every-time without a doubt I ring I’m in a queue then get cut off. Then I call back and it just calls and no one picks up. The receptionist are usually very rude apart from one or two that I have actually been very grateful for how helpful they were, other than that the rest are useless and should NOT be working in a job far from customer facing/ public interaction! I rarely ring the doctors but when I do I’m ringing because I genuinely need to see a doctors, it may not be life threatening but I need to speak/ see a doctor.. simple. This shouldn’t be hard to do.

Horrific service.. not only do you have to wait weeks on end to get an appointment - but the receptionist is out right rude and obnoxious could do with some training in being compassionate, caring & also have a professional attitude! it has got to be one of if not the worst surgery in the area. Formal complaint incoming.

Absolutely shocking, on hold for an hour from 8AM as a priority patient (breastfeeding new mother) to be told they have no appointments today and will tomorrow do? Not really when we need antibiotics asap. Terrible.

Seriously, it would be far easier and quicker to qualify as a Doctor and treat yourself than get an appointment here. Absolutely no point in ringing for an appointment because the phone is never answered. Being a patient at this practice is akin to having the Sword of Damocles above your head. Shameful.
