Whenever call them the automated message goes on and on. They take ages to pick up call even though it's not busy at all whenever I see it. When asked for long waiting time for phone line, staff just says someone is always in the office. Bad smell in pool changing room.

Just started swimming lessons at Guisborough swim Centre after70 odd years as a non swimmer.Getting lessons with a very professional young man who is having a hard job teaching an old dog new tricks.Thanks JAK for your pastance.

Very relaxed local facility to begin my journey to fitness. However, I think I need a few sessions with a personal trainer before going further and unfortunately this is not available in Guisborough so I’ll have to migrate to Redcar for a while.

Great pool, Very clean Good Change rooms,
Many classes held here Aqua Fit every week day and twice on Thursdays one in the morning the second in the evening. All the staff are fantastic and very friendly. There is also a very well equipped Gym with staff on hand to help.

Tried for over 30 mins to speak to someone to book lessons etc. All I got was a recorded message!
Same at Whitby, phone just rang and rang. No one bothered to answer it. Booking facility on line is complicated, but I also needed to discuss with someone what I wanted.
They obviously don't need the money!
Poor customer service from both venues.

clean and tidy, and making the best of a older facility, water is crystal clear and showers are always warm. superb friendly staff always ready to help, and swimming lessons are excellent my daughter has come on leaps and bounds and loves it.
