Every time I stopped myself from leaving a review, but this time was the last straw. I don’t know if they deliberately test and hire the rudest, most emotionless people as receptionists, but it certainly feels that way. If someone lacks empathy and basic human decency, they should not be working in healthcare.

I have witnessed their extreme rudeness not only towards myself but also towards others—including a 90-year-old man! They have no idea what empathy means. When I contacted them for my appointment last month, they were incredibly rude to me. Today, when I called twice regarding my father, the only response I got was: "Go to a walk-in centre." I explained that I had just returned from there and simply wanted an appointment with a doctor—tomorrow or on any available day. I asked if they were seriously telling me to go and wait another six hours, and shockingly, they said, "YES."

I truly hope no one has to deal with this place or their staff. While the doctors are amazing, the receptionists make the experience unbearable.

Don’t bother with this practice. You will get much better service from your local drug dealer or homeless drunk!! I have been a patient here for years, and this practice has gone from being great to a calamity of utter incompetence to the point where even staff members have suggested moving to another practice.

To start with the receptionists couldn’t care less and are just plain rude. They tell you to email in for repeat prescription requests but then they fail to action the emails or miss items off the prescriptions so you still end up without medication and have to call in and chase them. When you do call you’d think you were interrupting their personal time and causing them some sort of inconvenience. They then tell you it will be put down as urgent. Two/three days later, still no prescription so you call and chase again to be met with more nonchalant, could care less attitude being told it’s not their fault and that they can’t control the doctor (so clearly nothing has been marked as urgent). This has happened so many times over the past few years that I’ve lost count.
When you do get an appointment don’t expect any sort of familiarity or to see someone you have seen in the past as this rarely happens. It’s always another doctor who has no idea who you are or why you’re there, even though to get an appointment you now how to fill in a triage form explaining the issue before hand. Most of the time the doctors are locums who don’t seem to hold the same privileges.

The best one of recent memory, after having an appointment booked for me to see a doctor after being discharged from hospital as I needed to be prescribed a new medication. I arrived and checked in for my appointment, I sat and waited in the empty waiting room well past my appointment time to be called in by a paramedic who, openly stated, I don’t know why they’ve sent you to see me as I can’t help you, you need to see a doctor.
Whilst I was then in with this lady the receptionists called me trying to arrange an appointment for me to see a doctor and were completely dumbfounded when they found out I was not only in the practice but that I was sat with a paramedic currently in an appointment.

I honestly worry for vulnerable patients at this practice. This place either needs re-staffing or shutting down.

Ordered my prescription via email on Monday morning still not received at the pharmacy Friday chased up on Thursday to be told that it would be put through as urgent, rang again Friday waited 35 minutes on the phone only to be told that it has not been signed by the doctor. Told by the useless rude receptionist to ring back at 6.30pm to chase it up meanwhile I have have no medication left.I didn't have chance to ask for my blood test results before the receptionist put the phone down.

I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for the past 7 days. At first, they didn’t respond. I have an ovarian cyst and have been in excruciating pain for the past week. After a lot of effort, I finally booked an appointment for yesterday, but due to an unexpected road blockage, I was 7 minutes late, and they refused to see me. This morning, I filled out my triage again, and they referred me to A&E. It’s been a really frustrating experience every time I try to book with them.

I booked my daughter an appointment over the phone as the online triage was down and was not accepting further requests. The lady on the phone told me the soonest appointment they have is 5 weeks away. I had to take that appointment, but I was shocked that it was 5 weeks away.
I arrived with my daughter to her appointment on the correct day and 5 minutes early to be told an appointment was never made. We were turned away as the receptionist told me they only accept bookings online now. To say I am disgusted is an understatement. My daughter needed to see the nurse and I had to ask her what other options there were as the next available appointment would be in 4 weeks. She couldn't tell me the correct name of where to signpost us.
Unhelpful, lack of knowledge and never apologised for their mistake.

Avoid this GP Practice like the plague. It's run by a "for profit" organisation (Go To Doc) and the way one of their staff speak to you on the phone is disgusting. I recently tried to make a routine appointment using their lengthy, time consuming triage system but it wasn't working within the advertised times it should have been. I phoned them up waiting 15 mins on the phone and the obnoxious woman on the phone refused to book me an appointment. At that point, I switched practices to another one and within 2 weeks, I'd registered, had my file transferred, made and attended an appointment and had the blood tests and the results. I would advice all current patients to switch to another practice where they are almost certain to receive a better service.

They don't even deserve 1 star. Absolutely shocking, the receptionist staff are extremely rude, don't care. The GP practise has really gone downhill over the last 3-4 years. I've been asked to call back for a telephone consultation daily so they can tell me if they have an appointment for over a month. Then I get told they've sent me online details which they haven't sent? I've checked over and over even the online NHS portal. The way they speak to you doesn't even make you feel to bother calling back. If your considering to use this practise please save yourself, I will be doing the same.

After being looked after here for the last 10 years, I have no confidence in this practice or staff anymore. The service is very poor. You can't get appointments for months. You wait 24 in the line to talk to someone where it can take them over an hour to get put through to someone just to be told there nothing we can do and you will have to call again the next day their isnt any staff at this place and only 1 doctor working if you are luckly the staff are so rude and disgusting behaviour from the doctors and all the staff at this doctors. I was told that a condition of my needs to be watched and they haven't done it. So please don't go to this place and please help us to close it down
