The last 3 days have been awful , I was sent a message from the Dr that I needed a review so they would only do half my prescription so 10days time so I need to book a review which apparently can be done through e consult at 8am. The first day I do this they come back with no can't be done call , I spent 2 hours on the phone to get someone who said we can do it mid march ... No I need to be able to get a prescription in 9days time , oh fine you'll need to call 8am or econsult .. ive already done that and now I've called and your telling me you can't do anything. Well I can do next week. Anyways before I can reply she says bye and puts the phone down , I need to change this as I can't do the time so once again this can be done via econsult ok , get up early call immediately at 8, 2nd in the queue phone hung up on me. Try again after 10 minutes of saying full I'm number 47 nearly 2 hours later and the phone put down again.submit e consult.. no we can't do it you'll have to call ... At this point I feel extremely anxious and flabbergasting seen as I don't actually need anything , the Dr has requested this and now I will be the one in pain /put out because our local drs can't be contacted. My only choice now will be to have to go in person and sit in reception. Please don't put your patients in this position

Amazing customer service, receptionist was very helpful. Today I went to collect my 24 hours urine container, receptionist was very patient, calm and polite she dealt very my query, even though there was a queue by the reception. Nurse Tash was so lovely, helpful and very professional, she arranged my urine container from the hospital and helped me to book my Gp appointment to discuss my blood test results. Nurse Tash thank you so much for your help, you were busy with patient but still came to handover my container, really appreciated 😊

Booking in was easy on the computer and the waiting room was clean and warm on a horrible rainy day. I was on time for my appointment but didn't get called until 10 minutes later. My nurse (Tash) was very professional and friendly. She put me at ease whilst having a dressing and stitches removed. She also gave me advice on medical services I could access if I had problems with my wound.
Reception staff are always welcoming and helpful at this surgery.

The whole of the Solihull Health partnership is a terrible and awful experience. Staff are rude and aggressive, their phone systems do not work and so on. The doctors, nurses and reception staff are shambolic to the health care profession. CQC, please come in and close down this organisation!

My daughter phoned for herself and me .she got two appointments for the evening within ten minutes of each other . Saw doctor within 5 minutes of arriving can't fault service

SHP are dangerous, get them out and free the practices as they were before. Phones open at 8am, 8:00:10sec they’re at capacity. You used to be able to get to 20-30 in the queue if you knew the number combo, now it’s pointless. Their management and systems are inadequate and the staff bear the brunt of the frustration. Unfortunately non SHP practices know how dangerous they are and are also full so you can’t seek refuge by joining them.
This being said, once you’re lucky enough to get an appointment the bloods nurse, and certain reception staff are actually very very helpful and show care. But overall the system is unacceptable and needs intervention for the safety of their patients, enough is enough

I have been with this surgery for approx 2 years. I can honestly say that the reception staff are amazing! Courteous, polite, professional and discreet. They have just spent approx 20 minutes with me sorting out a few queries I had. Despite the queue behind me, they didn’t make me feel rushed.

The doctors can be hit and miss. Everyone is entitled to an ‘off’ day, but overall this is a good practice.

Everyone seems friendly and on time. I wish they had a self check in like some of their practises as if there’s a queue you can get yourself checked in and sat down without waiting.
