Recently returned from a 3 night stay with my husband and 2 children.
Hotel is beautiful, staff were friendly, polite and helpful, rooms were clean and spacious.
Pool and spa area were great.
Breakfast was basic but it was fine, dinner was lovely except the burger which was extremely dry but other than that everything else was fine.
The only negative I could say was on arrival which was a Sunday both bars were packed so unfortunately we couldn’t go down for a drink even though we were hotel guests, however there is a lovely pub down the road.
We would most definitely return to this hotel and I would recommend this to anyone.

We have just come back from a night away at this hotel. We have stayed in many hotels in the uk and overseas and probably would put this hotel at the top. Much better than some 5 star hotels. A lovely warm welcome from reception staff. Our room was 58, a spacious clean and warm room with a very large bed. The food (fillet steak) in the palm restaurant Was cooked to perfection, the restaurant staff were very attentive, the pianist was superb I couldn’t fault anything about it. The breakfast next morning was one of the best we have had, again staff couldn’t do enough for us. I would highly recommend everything about this hotel. Well done to the staff and management.

My partner and I have just come back from a weekend break here. This was our second time staying at the hotel and it was as good as we remembered. We arrived to find a special birthday message and card- which was a really lovely personal touch. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We were given a lovely quiet room overlooking the spa gardens. Palm Court is a lovely place to enjoy a meal and the food was amazing, as were the cocktails!

Leisure facilities (pool, spa, gym, sauna and stream room) are very good and hotel guests can access anytime. Dining area is lovely. Rooms are also really nice decor, though the basic room has only a double bed rather than a king. Breakfast was okay - no choice of different breads and fruit a bit limited but otherwise fine.

My husband and I stayed here for one night with our toddler and had such a wonderful stay. The pool was brilliant, the room was spacious, clean and all fixtures looked new and high quality, we had lovely toiletries and other treats in the room e.g. snacks and drinks, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We felt hugely welcomed with our daughter, despite her being very hungry and tired at the dinner table! The staff made a huge effort to keep her happy and even provided her with an activity pack to keep her busy. Breakfast was served from 7am (very helpful for young families) and checkout at 11am so didn't feel rushed and we even got a swim in before leaving. Would highly recommend this hotel for families or couples.

Rooms best I've ever seen. Great location. This visit we only called in for drinks and I was disappointed with the bar service, everyone was getting served but me even when I was the only person at the bar I wasn't being served. Other than that great place

Beautiful hotel, good price ratio, delicious foods, comfortable rooms and beds. The staff was very kind. The Palm court restaurant was so well decorated, however, the air is a bit cold. The spa for hotel guests was rather old, but okay to enjoy some time. Very easy reachable from Chester. Not so much to do in the close surrounding.

Sunday lunch. Had roast beef and all trimmings. Good size meal and very good quality food. Beef was excellent. Very busy but service was excellent. Not rushed and considering how busy it was we didn't wait too long. Great friendly staff. Will defo go again.
