Feedback for Greet Medical Service

My experience with Greet Medical Service has been profoundly disappointing and frustrating. To begin with, the registration process was a nightmare. It took more than two months to get me registered, and the procedures in place are shockingly outdated. I had to fill out everything manually, and despite following their instructions, I was asked to come back twice with different requirements each time. This demonstrates a serious lack of organization and efficiency.

The reception staff are among the worst I have encountered in terms of behavior and service. Patients are treated with a blatant lack of respect, akin to being treated like dogs. Ironically, they have a signboard that states no misbehavior towards the staff will be tolerated, yet it is the staff who should be reminded to read and adhere to this policy when dealing with patients.

Even after finally getting registered, I received no actual service from them. Every time I called for an appointment for my children's illnesses, they offered no solutions. I strongly suspect that the doctors there are merely posing as receptionists, as I was repeatedly advised to go to the pharmacy to buy medicine myself instead of being given a proper appointment. In the five months I have been with Greet Medical Service, I have not received any support or service despite numerous attempts to secure an appointment.

This experience leads me to question why we pay such substantial IHS fees when this practice fails to provide any real treatment. I strongly advise anyone considering this GP to think twice. Good luck if you decide to proceed, but my advice is to avoid this service at all costs.

Right, so I've used this service for several years since a child. The pharmacy aspect is outstanding as the pharmacists are professional people with qualifications and have been doing this for years!

The service at the actual practice I've had very mixed feelings about. In the past, when trying to call the service, I've had someone pick up the phone at times and then at other times it's like a ghost town because no one picks up. I understand that 8:30am is a busy time when everyone calls, but my question here is why has the system changed that you can only book an appointment on the same day. I'm just really curious why we can't book in advance anymore because that aspect of the service used to be stellar.

The receptionists are welcoming and friendly and the nurses and doctors are competent. I do find it eerily strange why there is such a high turnover of doctors in the practice, but to be fair sometimes in life people have to move on. It would be pleasant to have that rapport for some people though and to know that there is some follow through with any treatment.

I suspect a lot of this is to do budget cuts as a result of the Tory government being frugal with public spending and their austerity tactics since 2008. I just think to myself at times that these public services can be good, but the Tory government could have invested into the NHS as we as the public have to pay the cost. We as the public pay taxes everyday, why are people still waiting ages for treatment and just to get an appointment.

Unfortunately, the causes a class divide between the middle and working class which J.B. Preistley could forsee in An Inspector Calls.

I have been a patient of this practice for over 20 years and I can honestly say that I am more then pleased with the service and care I receive. The exceptional reception staff are always helpful and go out of their way to ensure that my needs are fulfilled. Further, the GPS are professional and are able to make me feel content with the medical advice they give and fulfill their duty of care to a high standard.

I have been with the practice for many years. They have always been so helpful with all aspects of care. The staff/drs/reception/admin/ secretaries show great understanding in personal circumstances and always make sure a quality service is given. Its all about showing a level of mutual understanding.

I went on a saturday morning to get my bloods done. It's a bit of a maze getting in, and the signage was OK but could be clearer in terms of giving directions. The staff were really nice and they were professional & efficient. I was in & out within a 10-15 minute time frame.

I've been a patient since the GP surgery initially opened. For the last 30ish years I've never felt that my surgery doesn't care. From the reception staff to the Nurses to the HCAs and GPs. The care I've received and my family has received has always been outstanding. You often hear about gatekeeping in healthcare, however, personally I've never experienced it from my surgery. I've always managed to get seen by a doctor of my choice, who pays attention and doesn't essentially fob me off with a mundane response. I've seen the receptionists be spoken to with utter disrespect from patients who don't understand that a queue system for appointments on the phone is in place, and have held back and still treated them with kindness, and I have to say Anwara is really lovely along with all the reception staff. It isn't possible to have an infinite amount of appointments and there's only so much one surgery can do and to accommodate, the NHS is underfunded and overwhelmed and I feel the surgery is doing the best it absolutely can. I always know that when I need an appointment the GP makes you feel like you matter and the best possible treatment will be provided. Just to add a side note, my child needed a blood test and Nasreen the nurse was absolutely amazing! 5 stars. She calmed my child down who has an absolute insane fear of needles. Thank you!!

The staff of GP very unprofessional. I am suffering from severe pain I called them many times for an appointment, firstly they kept me on hold for 12-15 mins & then responded very unprofessionaly, A lady didn't listen me properly as she didn't want to. She declined the call when I was explaining my problem. This is ridiculous.

Worse place to get medical treatment. Nobody knows what they're doing, blatantly read out other patients details and medical history before realising they're telling the wrong person. There's maybe 1, 2 Dr's that I'd say are professional and qualified, the other 93% of staff are just there for the fun of it. Health care needs to be taken seriously, if you value your life and health - go to either fernley medical centre, or anywhere that's not here!!!! Have had these bad experiences everytime we've visited, so not writing this review for no reason, but for others knowledge.
