I had to visit the Urgent treatment centre on Monday 21st October 2024 the staff were brilliant, friendly and I was seen very quickly. Carol on reception who signed me in was wonderful

Been at Grantham Hospital this evening for poorly daughter. There for 4 hrs. These people are absolutely amazing, over stretched but brilliant. Really appreciate this service from reception to docs and blood test.

Today, my partner Daiana was feeling terrible sick, she could not breath, had numbness in her lips, hands and legs and told me to drive her straight to Grantham hospital, as we are leaving in Sleaford. After arrival, the staff realised that she is in a very poorly condition, and a lady, working as a volunteer at the reception, came and offered us a wheelchair.
Moments later, she has been admitted in the emergency unit, and 10 minutes after her arrival, they had a picture on what possibly could gone wrong: EKG, blood pressure, heart rate, glicemia, .......and the results of her blood test. In the meantime, she has been supervised by the resident staff.
I don't want to mention any name, as I don't rememember all of them, but I want to pass a big thanks to all the staff working in the emergency department: you have all been grate, helpful and very professional.
Furthermore, I want to thank all the people quing with emergencys, for understanding the condition of my partner and allowing us to jump the queue.
Despite the poor funding of the NHS, there is a chance for all of us, to receive the medical care we deserve and for what we pay a lot of money, and the staff makes the difference. No comment about the government actions, we all know about.

Great service this evening. Was in and out with my toddler in less than an hour. Diagnosis and medication provided. All heslthcare workers from reception to Triage and then doctor were very professional and kind.

My daughter had an operation today and the service was excellent.. Sarah Good ( a student nurse), outdid herself..her companion, empathy and just caring nature were just beyond expectation. She explained everything to us, seeking consent at every stage, bravo. This is our NHS , not perfect but still our pride and joy. We love Grantham

What a delight Receptionist Carol is - a wonderful representative of the hospital - I imagine she would have a very calming effect on any anxious patient. I hope the hospital appreciates you as much as the patients do.

Visited Grantham District Hospital Endoscopy Dept through the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. My experience at the Endoscopy Unit was nothing short of excellent. From reception staff, to nurses and Consultant. All staff were super professional, person centred, very friendly and supportive and the outcomes for me could not have been exceeded. Anyone with concerns with regards to this procedure can be reassured. I feel so enormously grateful to you all. What an amazing team, thank you so much.

Arrived early for parking. Not a problem. Still places when I left at 1.30pm. Staff were excellent and friendly. Best visit to a hospital I've had in years. Great NHS
