It's fine when you can get an appointment but I had to leave the practice and join another as it was a bit too difficult to get an appointment

I want to let everybody know about my experience with our gp from today. My 3 years old daughter had very bad head injury ( see photos), because the nearest help centre was gp I just go straight there from the nursery where she had the accident. I had my 1year son with me also. I went there telling the receptionist about the accident and because the head was looking very bad I ask them just for 2 min to talk with the doctor to advise us what we have to do. She told us very rude to leave as there are not appointments left. As I was very worried I start to cry and shake looking at my daughter, I was unable to go to a&e with my son in the pushchairs, my daughter and her scooter plus another 2 handbags. I was begging them with tears in my eyes to help me and to let me untill doctor got few minutes. I went in the waiting area and they call the security to push me out from the building, they call the manager who said she doesn't has any compassion for us and to go from there. I was a single mum with two kids, a pushchairs, a scooter and more belongings and fell helpless for my daughter and throw away from my gp practice at the end laughing and asking me for a tissue. I do understand rules, I do understand positions ( doctor, manager, security), I am a respectful person but this is just inadmissible. Instead of showing and telling us she ( manager) doesn't has any compassion for us better was to ask me for a glass of water because I was in a bad situation or helping me with a taxi to get to a hospital she just verbally push me away with my kids, one of them with serious head injury. Before everything we are human! Everything was for a little 3years old girl which she assisted to this terrible behavior and she s even know crying and asking me why they was so rude with us. This is impossible, we are still shocked and asking if they were us!?

My question is, have you ever meet a Nice Dr's Receptionist? I bet you haven't. However, you can now, her name is Zelon, and when i tell you she's kind , patient HELPFULL and just all round a wonder to have meet. when i speak to her i know the job will get done so happy she's on the team! she's truly an anomaly

I have had awful experiences in past in regards of getting through the appointment despite of the fact the nature of my concerns were serious. However, the new receptionist Jordanne has been very kind and willing to listen and understand the problems and advice appropriately. The services provided by the doctors are excellent! I hope the surgery would keep on progressing in future!

Poor customer service and because of that they lost a patient. I know people has been leaving and it will come to a point they will lose their jobs. They should know it's we the patients that keep the GP running, and without us, it will be shut down for good

I was 8min late for my apt the doctor refused to see my 8week baby for his 6 week check up. I explained I had to feed him and its hard as a new mum but she refused it still. So unethical no empathy, no care and really unjustifiable reasons for not seeing him. I do understand there is a pandemic but there is no need for the doctors to refuse a patient for 8 min esp as we have waited for doctors at this surgery well over 30min when we turn up for our apt on time. Really disappointed they have let us down and really don't care.

I have lived in this are since 1995 and I have never had issues. Anyone who knows anything about healthcare knows they are not your servants and they have so many responsibilities that and rules to follow that they are under constant pressure. They are always polite unless a patient is demanding things that are not possible and then getting upset about it. You know who you are.

The doctors at the surgery are great, if you get to see them However, at the reception, they consistently employ a bunch of incompetent creatures (that would be shown the door quickly if they were to work in private sector) - will keep you on hold an then cut-off the line and cut-off again when you attempt to call back. The highlight of their unprofessionalism and lack of common courtesy is that they somehow changed my address to completely random address I never lived at, sent an important letter there and then made it my fault (I have been at the same address for 9 years). Also claimed they called me (on the correct number) regarding the same matter, however were unable to confirm when exactly after I challenged them over lack of missed calls and voicemail from the surgery. The overall response was: "you have a problem? do you want to complain?". Yes, and I did so in the past, yet no action whatsoever was taken by management, no ever a formal apology received.
