They say they're going to call you that afternoon.
My job is literally on the line and I have zero energy to be able to sort this out. I have cognitive disability and complex mental health needs and I recently joined this GP outside of catchment area usually but I was
refused from 168 Medical.
I went in to ask about my Fit Note status. It's run out. On Monday. My work breathes down my neck. I'm not ready to go back to work. I could actually lose my job cuz of this not getting my Fit Note in time.
If you say you're gonna call you need to call.
I've been on hold for 11 minutes making this call. On a Wednesday morning.

Go to this surgery for uni. The receptionists are lovely and have had some nice nurses when having blood tests. However, I have felt often brushed off by the doctors. They constantly forget to call me, and today I rang up to ask when they would phone me and they said they would phone today. I haven’t had any call and am now going to have to wait till Monday to ring back AGAIN. Not to mention one doctor I had, I didn’t really understand what he was saying or trying to tell me, making me feel very anxious. He touched my ribs and then only asked afterwards when he was already touching my ribs if it was ok to do so. As a young girl this is not great, I know he wasn’t trying to be creepy but just made me uncomfortable. However there have been some lovely staff and I think small things like this just let the surgery down. Really needs a better system for calling people back as well as I always feel like they forget about it me and I always am the one having to ring them to remind them to ring me .they also had no record of a medication that I had been taking and that they prescribed me for the last two years.

Should be a 0 star rating.
My mother rang this surgery (she hardly ever rings the doctors) for a really bad chest infection. She listed her symptoms, told the doctors the agony she was in and all she got told was to "ring the pharmacy and take painkillers, have a warm bath" since "chest infections take 3 weeks to show up". She has been ill for over 2 weeks by this point. She was in tears by the end of the phone call because of the disgustingly POOR service she received.
She works in a care home so couldn't even go to work, and yet they still refused to even give her an appointment and check her out. She's in her 50's and works 70+ hours a week.
Absolutely appalling. Hope no one receives this sort of behaviour from the staff. Go ANYWHERE ELSE.

Rude & Abusive Doctors who are untrained causing great distress & Anxiety. They took my meds off me without weening me off putting me at great risk of death. Meds that are vital for my quality of life. I've been calling 111 all weekend updating them on how serverly ill I am due to withdrawal. Avoid at all cost because your life is precious & you deserve to be loved 😍

I was nearly murder new year's Day & had my medication stolen as a result. The surgery practice deny my application for assistance with life changing meds & deny I came into the practice to give a crime reference number. I have been accused of lying & my meds with held.
The prescription line lied about my recent claim & have clearly not seen my medical records to prove I was almost killed.
I'm getting this place shut down if it's the last thing I do...... Sometimes I have thoughts that are very negative & I have to pray God removes them least I act out.
Taking the right route will prove of great value.

SHUT THE PLACE DOWN!

Very rood receptionist, I phoned earlier asking if I could change doctor as closer (5 min walk away) she was nasty and wanted to know all about me, I only wanted a form to fill in. When I got one the look was like death when I left . Thanks but no you need to have a word with her.

I am utterly dissatisfied with the surgery’s service. My boyfriend was diagnosed with tendinitis and had an appointment with a physician. When the appointment was booked over the phone, the physician said she would book it for 8:20. Then he had a message that the appointment was booked for 8:40. When we went there, he filled in his personal information on the screen. The screen showed 8:40. After 40 minutes of waiting, the receptionist told us that he had come late ( we had been there at 8:36). And he missed his appointment at 8:20. When we showed her the message that the appointment was booked for 8:40, she continued to claim that the appointment had been booked for 8:20. When we were rescheduling we've asked for an appointment for the same hour 8:40. She almost books for a different time. In the end, we asked her to have this in writing. Is booking an appointment and using time management software difficult? I guess you need some brain cells for that kind of inquiry!

There was me thinking Graham Road had improved but I was wrong. Now the doctors are lying. I messaged on ask my gp yesterday and got told I would get a call today. They called 2 times one instantly after the other, so that doesn't give me a chance to answer as I was already busy at the chiropractor. I phoned up as no message has been left and I didn't want to not hear back. They lied and said they called me three times so I've now been removed from the list and have to apply again tomorrow. Clearly people's health is not their number 1 priority. I have been let down by this doctors I clouding fat shamed so many times, I'm really disappointed

Whilst having a poor experience with reception when registering at the surgery in January, I have just had a very helpful and effortless interaction with AskMyGP - resulting in a virtual PushDr appointment within 24 hours and a direct (and friendly!) phone call from Graham Road Surgery to schedule a face to face appointment within 48 hours. Kudos on the automated system and quick turn around, much appreciated!
