Please be careful with you loved ones. My elderly mother has been ringing the surgery for months for a face to face appointment as she couldn't keep her food down and was losing weight. The only appointment they gave her was over the phone. This was no help as they put her on the wrong medication. She ended up in hospital due to the lack of care from the surgery and has been diagnosed with cancer. There is no care for vulnerable people.

I would like to share my positive experience of Grafton Road Surgery with you. I had a consultation with Dr Ali, she was extremely professional, caring and supportive. From that meeting her and the surgery team put together a package of appointments which concluded in me attending QE hospital. The people I met were very kind, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. These were, Dr Ali, Dr Banergee, Lisa on reception and Mich the practice nurse. All were incredibly helpful and I feel blessed that they helped me.

Keep up the great work.

Some of the receptionist are friendly but others are dismissive. The doctors seem to only work part time and from home part of that time. I have waited 4 weeks for my prescription as they lost the paperwork - you can get an appointment but anything more complex is difficult

Call to listen to a story about how to be nice to the receptionist & one of the doctors has left the practice.
Absolutely ridiculous!
Long queue to get through to the receptionist who isn't a doctor & decides the outcome of your appointment after demanding to know your symptoms.
Not particularly friendly, more like police when the police were actually police.
Surgery is no way near as good as it used to be.

Tried on monday to make an appointment, was offered 2 telephone calls then told couldnt have a call till next day as one dr was off and another receptionist booking the second available call before the person i spoke to could book it. I then tried first thing Tuesday to get a call earlier than 6pm and was told to call 111 as they have no appointments for 3 weeks. Also supposed to open at 8am and at 8.29 door still locked and i know this as i was standing at the door.

Shocking service, phone just rings out and takes days to respond to a email.

Just needed the doctor to fill out a few paragraphs on a form to get referred to my private health care and have been told that takes a week to complete REALLY

Absolutely shocking; after calling to speak to a doctor I was told to ring the next day at 8 or 2.30 so I rang at 8 on the dot, as on a waiting list…number 7 so after 30 mins of waiting gave up as I had to start work, then rag again dot on 3.30 this time I was number 4, after finally getting through they cut the call off saying the couldn’t hear me, I then called back again, and again I’m number 7. How do you run a service like this, all I wanted was to have some bloods taken. Shocking service.
