The whole team at this surgery are absolutely fantastic. The Dr's really do have our best interests at heart and really do care!! Unfortunately, my previous Dr's surgery failed me and half of my problems are from the lack of care they provided to me. Gosport Medical Centre actually do what is best for you... rather than just doing something to shut you up or get rid of you. I literally can't fault their patience, understanding and perseverance. They are non judgemental, and make you feel like your health & wellness is in good hands when you need help. The best decision I ever made was moving to this surgery. The receptionists are so lovely too and make phoning in so much easier. I am currently receiving treatment for an ongoing problem and this surgery have gone above the call of duty to take time out to ensure I'm receiving everything I need. This week will be my last week on my treatment plan and I honestly cannot thank them enough. Had I of had the support from a surgery like this years ago, I feel I would have recovered years ago too. THANK YOU for helping me to build my life back up. You're all amazing and anyone registered at this surgery are very lucky to have you all.

I had an appointment at the Gosport Medical Centre for 1510 on Tuesday 21st March . I turned up 25 minutes early and presented the letter I had been sent for my annual review the receptionist seemed confused but I was directed to the first floor to wait for a nurse .
What I did not know was that the receptionist had not booked me in despite telling me she had (she later blamed the computer). So I lost my appointment and although they did offer me another one later in the week I declined . This is not the first time I have had trouble with incompetent receptionists .

The worst thing they done was merge with the willow group. This doctors surgery used to be fantastic. Now... It's terrible. Have to do online form to speak to a doctor/ nurse... I needed to book a blood test. Have to do the online form. They sent me a link with push doctor. They call me.. I asked to be booked for a blood test and she says " a blood test? You do realize you're on the phone to push doctor don't you?" Lol, yes I do. It's apparently the only way to get hold of a doctor and they gave me you. Got told to ring up and book a blood test Can't ring up as have to do it all online?!! Downloaded nhs app. No blood tests for 7 weeks ?. Ridiculous.

I have an existing heart condition and after taking to a doctors on the phone it took 3 weeks to get a text message to book a blood test which I was offered one date 3 weeks on. Then 5 weeks after talking to the doctor I get a text asking me to book an ecg 4 weeks on from that!

So if I haven’t died before then it will be 9 weeks between calling to discuss heart issues and getting an ecg and I expect another 4 weeks until I get to talk to the gp again….. absolutely pointless!

The NHS is broken! Why do I have to pay for this disgraceful service.

My husband had his bloods taken by nurse Nicky yesterday. Even though he did pass out. she handled him with great care and sensitivity and made him feel very comfortable. Also reception ladies were very polite and welcoming.

I was just 5 minutes late for my appointment today, and they refused to let me have a flu injection because I'm 5 minutes late. I just said hi, sorry I'm 5 minutes late because of traffic on Bury Road. Deserve no even 1 star

Ive just recently change to Gosport medical centre, I came in a couple of weeks ago from having problems with my previous surgery, there was a young girl on the reception who was able to help me out and she also called my previous surgery to sort out the problem! She was so knowledgeable and confident! So today I went in today for a medical and go through some information about the surgery with the nurse amber, in all my time going to see doctors/nurses I’ve never felt confident than what I did with her! She was so friendly and actually spent time with me! So far excellent can’t recommend enough!!

When it's so easy to moan about the quality of care and service you expect/receive in life then it makes a massive change when you receive quick and professional response what for me was a big problem causing major discomfort and anxiety. Well done to the GMC and the staff that responded to my message. Within 1 hour of sending it, and finishing with a one to one phone call from a Doctor I'm heading to the chemist for my emergency drugs. Thank You to all involved.
