In a word fantastic! Despite the massive pressure this surgery is under they deliver a great level of care. Providing you follow the system they have in place which works well. I have had an ongoing condition which has required a number of call backs and subsequent appointments. All of which happened exactly as promised. I think people need to bear in mind this surgery (as most l) are
likely overload and still deliver a great standard of care if you follow the system ! Yes you may have to wait in a queue on the phone to get a call back. Is that really such a big deal? We probably all want better funded and resourced care but these guys are doing an amazing job with the resources they have! Thank you !!

I wanted to thank Nurse Paula for a fantastic job at removing 37 clamps yesterday after a full knee replacement. The wound was a mess, despite this she persevered in such a professional and sympathetic way, I have nothing but praise and admiration for her skills! Thank you Paula - you made a real difference! ?

Teresa rang me tonight I tried to pickup but got cut off . Her voicemail message was she would send a text.... The text was as much use as a chocolate fireguard . No follow up suggestions on my diagnoses disgraceful service. I am an active person but the bone spurs have knocked my activity somewhat. I wonder if this surgery needs to be put under review .

If only there was a no star review.
First of all, there's at least one receptionist who is actually pleasant to speak to, but that's only after you are able to speak to them after waiting for eons on the phone.
With the exception of a couple of doctors, the attitude and care that I have received from this surgery is abysmal.
From a doctor asking "What do you want me to do about it?", to the complete lack of interest and general rudeness of other so called medical professionals.
I have had to constantly ring up and push to get any further with anything regarding treatment, scans and further information.
I am considering changing surgeries due to this, but really don't want to have to go through the already slow process I have already made.
Also, the complaints procedure is a joke.

Still have the attitude that doctors are gods and know everything. They must appreciate that some of us have been working for the NHS for longer and have kept up to date. Just because we are old does not mean that we are ignorant.

I’ve never had a problem with reception, doctors or the nurses, I’d happily give them 5 stars. The one star review is from the terrible dispensary on site. The dispensing of repeat prescriptions is vital for the community. Unfortunately they don’t give a fair service when it comes to this. The only options they give me when I went there in person was to either call them or email them the prescription as I didn’t have a repeat prescription slip to post in the box. This may sound reasonable to most but for me this was inexcusable.
First I didn’t have a repeat slip from the chemist so posting wasn’t an option, I couldn’t call or email as I had no mobile data. This left me with no option on getting my repeat prescription in so meds didn’t run out. I actually had to ride on my push bike to get there to try (not easy when you are unwell and in constant pain, just to be told they can’t except a face to face request.
After cycling back home I had to borrow a neighbour’s phone to call them to try and get the prescription in. When I tried to complain about the discussion against people who may not have a phone or email they then tell me I could have had written it on paper and still posted it…so why did they not tell me that or offer me that when I was there in person?
I still told them I wanted to complain about either the discriminative service or the poor quality of the staff that refused me and didn’t tell me I could just write it on paper and post it. They left me on hold and when returning they said I will get a call back to discuss the complaint…… surprisingly (NOT!) I never did get a call back.
For me this is not an acceptable service and wrong in many ways.
1. Poor staff who are not fit for the job.
Or
2. Dispensary policy that discriminate against people without a phone or email.

3. Total failure to acknowledge my complaint with either their policy or staff that should have disciplinary action for the way she treated me and my request for a way around what I needed from them to stop meds running out before they could be replaced, which would go against patients health and health needs as priority or set out by the doctor who prescribed the meds.
I did also try to leave the review on the NHS website but low and behold they refused it…. Go figure.

After 12 weeks of being in constant abdominal pain, 4 stool samples and 4 urine samples, which have come back as no sign of cancer, so I’ve been told today. I’ve been told I have a kidney stone in left kidney, only according to the system today I DONT, oh no wait a minute yes I do. Doctor apparently offered me a colonoscopy, why did I refuse? I’ve NOT been offered a colonoscopy.
I received a letter out of the blue saying I was being referred to the colorectal cancer team, frightened me to death, only to be told at a later date, oh no sorry you don’t meet their criteria.
I just cannot believe that SOMEONE from the surgery can’t help or diagnose this condition, or seems to offer further investigation/tests.
I’m at my wits end having constant pain and seemingly no help!
If there was an option for no star review, I would have chosen it.

My husband had to attend Gosberton MC for a Renal Scan. He sat there for an hour and a half, with the required full bladder. A member of staff repeatedly called another patient who never appeared, but not him. Finally he told the receptionist he hadn't been called. Eventually a member of staff told him that he had missed his appointment, and that she had called him several times, which is completely untrue! This is totally unexceptable, and has put his health at risk, as still has not had the scan!....Before the uniform response "we are sorry you are not completely satisfied with your care" and "you can contact us to discuss this", there was NO care!. Just improve your standard to somewhere near exceptable!
