Dr running over an hour behind. Seeing a patient then spending 20 mins talking and laughing with a colleague. Then another patient then wonders off for a light hearted chat with a colleague in another room. He's spent two X five minutes with patients in the hour I have been here....

Had an appointment on Wednesday evening at 2000 after being revered by 111
Got seen on time. The quality of care was excellent. The GP was comprehensive. He went through a lot of diagnostic checks on me. Before he diagnosed me he ran it past the on call Dr at Cheltenham hospital
All off do the above was good but the best was yet to come
The GP prescribed 2 lots of anti-biotics . He searched online and rang two different local pharmacies to see if they was in stock. His prescription went straight to the pharmacy and I never waited long . The GP told me that he could of sent me to Enegency Department in hospital but I’d be waiting for significant period of time and it could of made my condition worse

Never had this level of service in NHS before . So grateful for GP bring so caring and conclusive

Would be great if they knew how to use their phone.lines open at 8am it’s now half past and it has just rang for half an hour and still no one has picked up 👍
