Blood tests department. Very hard to get an appointment especially if it is early or late, had to wait 5 weeks to get 8am before work but staff very welcoming and friendly

Usually get seen pretty quickly however I arrived early for my appointment and I explained to the receptionist that my previous appointment had finished early and she was actually quite rude. Saying that they aren’t a drop in service etc plus some people were not logged in

Can't praise the staff here enough. So helpful and kind. Went in to book an appointment after my GP practice messed up an appointment for blood test. They couldn't have been more helpful. The receptionist was lovely and the lady who did the actual test was brilliant. I've been a few times recently and can't fault them at all. Thank you 😊

I had my blood test this morning at Gilbert Hitchcock house. My appointment was for 10 am but I got there early and was seen early something I wasn't expecting. The staff at reception and phlebotomist staff were all professional, kind and helpful to me and to other patients which I observed during my visit. Thank you the senior phlebotomist Iona who took my blood. I was told they see around 600 patients each day, amazing and we should all appreciate their service to the Bedford Community.

Absolutely disgraceful. Contacted my GP to get a general Health MOT. They told me I need to have blood tests done first. Sent me a letter on 27th November. It used to be you could just turn up at GH House for a Blood test. Now you have to book an appointment online or by phone. Nothing at all this side of Xmas, and no dates available beyond yet. Good job it's nothing urgent. I don't think I'll bother.

Easy to find,blood test are taken here fast and efficiently by friendly staff from reception to the blood takers..My only gripe is that you can't pay with a quick swipe for parking with a mobile,you have to call to pay from a mobile which is a bit annoying and takes longer.there are other services there that I never used at this stage.there is also a one hour short parking across the road with limited spaces.all in all good service .

1st time I've been here, can't fault the staff, all do a tremendous job. But the car park, what a rip off £3 for one hour, won't be coming back.

The parking here is ridiculous, obviously your coming here for a health process which is normally great with the staff being top notch but if you have a car 🤦‍♂️ good luck. 4/10
