Amazing care home where staff focus on each individuals needs giving the best quality care they can provide. A wide range of activities vary daily whether it be colouring to outings at the swimming baths, cinemas and even the zoo. The kitchen provide a multi-choice option of foods meeting all dietary needs (soft foods, vegetarian, vegan, lactose free etc). Management are always helpful and understanding of different situations families go through. There is a hairdresser on site that comes once a week as well as their own doctor that visits for any residents medical needs. Birthdays and cultural/ religious holidays are celebrated involving all residents, staff and even family members.

This home is run to a very high standard. All residents have the chance to go out on excursions to local attractions and seem to all have a great time with lots of fun. When not going out they run internal activities and all staff go to great lengths to make sure everybody is included.
The house runs like a well oiled machine thanks to Vicky the house manager who makes sure the residents are looked after like we all want our loved ones to be cared for.

George Hythe house has been wonderful in all ways, they have change my motives about care homes. A relative has been in the care home for years now and she enjoys the home like her home, with professional staff, conducive environment ,several great activities and lots more.

My Grandad spent two and half weeks here with a hospital visit in between and sadly he passed away in the care home due to his illness and decline with his health.

During my Grandads time in George Hythe, the staff were welcoming, caring and kind not only to the patients but also to family and visitors. They had the time to walk us down to my grandad and update on how he was and what they were doing for his care. The care they gave him was gentle and genuine as they looked after him, checked in on him and made sure he was clean and dressed when we came to visit. They also got him in the dining room in a wheelchair which he wasn't always capable of doing due to his hip operation and decline in his physical care.
After my grandad passed, the staff in the care home were very supportive by making sure we were ok, they rang for a couple of days to check in our wellbeing. They also helped us with his belongings marking respect for him. Nothing was a problem for the staff at George Hythe house.

The care home offers two activities per day ranging from fresh air club to drawing to being able to have your hair cut as a patient there.

The care home is situated in a quiet cul de sac and has plenty of parking for staff and visitors. They are toilets inside. It is secure and safe. You need to sign in and out of the care home.

George hyth house is amazing care home who provides outstanding care and focus on resident's individual needs and they arrange many activities for them like rsidents can go for walk to get fresh air they arrange trips for them and there they can celebrate all cultural festivals even staff and family also celebrate with them and even residents can birthday celebration and silent disco and much more , residents can also enjoy their own preference meals and they have different choices in all meals and welcoming and familiar environment for all residents and visitors and management are also supportive.
