I was offered a job, worked my 4 weeks notice at my old job and then on the last couple of days recieved an email to say that they have decided to go back on there offer due to not receiving forms on time, ( they have me 1 working day to revieve it in the post.) I feel as though the management clearly have no empathy or consideration, being a young girl before Christmas time. It’s a drs surgery, I’d say most people need to have some empathy or consideration but clearly not at this practice.

Had a doctors appointment today and was the worst experience of any doctors appointment I've had. Doctor was moody the entire time and made me feel like i was wasting their time and offered unprofessional advice on my concerns. Also prescribed me medication which they said "id rather you not take this" but prescribed me it anyways.

Made an appointment earlier today 16.07.24. I have now been on the phone fo 90 minutes automated saying my call is important to this practice. I have missed my appointment due to a family crisis. I'm trying to apologise for not attending. My whole family have been with practice since my mam was born 83 years ago. It has been run to the ground by consortium etc. Totally disappointed in this. I'm sure your head office thinks this is good customer service. I don't have a clue who my GP even is.?

I went to this surgery from 2019 - 2021. They were awful. They never answered the phones. They didn’t approve repeat prescriptions for weeks and left everyone without their medication. They didn’t send referrals when they said they would.

I filled in an application to get access to my medical records, I was told there would be a 30 day wait. After the 30 days I turned up to get them and they told me they lost the application. I had to re-do it and wait again.

One of the drs was so rude to me and made me feel like I was the problem for complaining about serious medication side effects.

Been trying to get an appt for days . “No nurses , no doctors appts.”
~Referred by receptionist to next day to :- 8am crazy telephone queue or,,,next day 8am “outside the surgery queue”,,,or online consult, ,,,or to contact CHOC after surgery hours ( sure they’ll appreciate that ) ( i thought choc wasn’t for regular appts ?)
~Spent £££ at pharmacist to no avail , they refer back to GP as limited to what they can prescribe ~Don’t appreciate receptionists asking nature of appt ,,,, it’s not fair on them or their fault , not confidential and not in their remit to make an assessment.
~Probably like most people In the end I give up and will sit it out ( maybe that is the plan ?),,,,, and just have to lump it ,and wait for nature to improve my ailment.

-I’m dizzy and frustrated with consistent “going round in circles” & “bombed off”
No wonder a/e get fed up with conditions inappropriate to them.

Went to the doctors regarding mental health and felt like I was the only one listening to myself. Doctor hardly even understood what I had to say. Other than being transferred to a physiologist it was a waste of an appointment.
The mental health system is broken.

Called up yesterday to ask about signing up to this gp as I am originally from Carlisle and coming home from uni for good now. Woman was great and said to come down today and sign up. Come today, I get rudely greeted by a different woman who was very unhelpful and basically told me to find my own gp practice in an area closer to where I live. Obviously I was shocked I didn’t know this information and she just patronised me and spoke as if I was an idiot. Isn’t this her job to help? Is it my fault she isn’t from Carlisle?. She acted as if it was so much effort to ask her manager where this other gp was … terrible service. Must be moody because I interrupted her lunch break and gave her some work to do anyways I’m happy to find another after that :)))
