I was treated at the Northern Centre for cancer from February until September this year. The professionalism and care this hospital provides is unbelievable. The staff are truly amazing. The consultants, radiologists, specialist cancer nurses and all staff are so calm, caring and experienced. Everything is so brilliantly organised. Thanks to them all. It’s because of these people I will be able to see my grandchildren grow up. I will be eternally grateful. We should count ourselves lucky that we have the Freeman hospital and the RVI in this city.

So far so good , in all honesty i was hoping never to come to this hospital . Who wants to go to hospital nobody but when i found out i had Thyroid cancer i wanted to be in the best hospital and freeman hospital is well known for treating Cancer. From the outside i couldnt see actually how big it was. The reception desk lady i spoke to was very helpful in getting me to where i needed to be. The nurses and doctor i saw that day were very helpful straight forward. I will have to back soon for Radiotherapy.

I was misdiagnosed and discharged from vascular. I went private and found out the sonographer failed in his job causing a discharge and an extra year off work. I went through a whole serious of unnessarcy tests over 12 months trying to find out what was causing my symptoms. Only for everything to come back all clear. In the end it was the first thing i was referred for and tested for that the sonographer said was normal. Do not pick this hospital if you need an ultrasound incompetent.

Radiotherapy 5 days a week for 6 weeks, great staff and Daft as a Brush transport are brilliant, it's the waiting around on some appointments that is not too good, but otherwise the staff are very helpful and informative.
